thanks for the info. balak ko pa naman pakabit ng wang-wang or red & blue light for secutity purposes. katakot kasi dito sa atin, maraming car jackers. tapos minsan naman pati civilian nadadamay minsan sa shoot-out. i think, car jackers will think twice if they see that you have that red & blue signal light or hear that you have a wang-wang.

Yup, ako din, kaya ko lang naisip for security purposes.. not necessarily naman to create my own lane during traffic.. hehe pero yung light lang gusto ko para dagdag visibility na din yung wang-wang, pag-iisipan ko pa hehe

Yes, madami na po kami and hopefully, maka set na kami ulit ng 2nd-EB namin Mukhang busy po ang karamihan sa mga MS owners kasi siguro dahil sa summer, activities ng kids during summer, mga balik bayans, out of the country on vacation, fiestas, etc.. More and more na po are interested in forming the club and hopefully, mag-tugma mga schedules namin

sa mga units na e release on may onwards, di na 32k ang discount, 10k nalang. i had placed my reservation on april 24 pero the unit will be released on may 8 kaya di na kasali sa 32k discount. sayang din yung 22k, pang insurance na sana yun.

Yes, if you have MO and other official police function as civilian/undercover. It all comes in with legal papers of course duly signed and sealed.

Example: Private vehicles used as escort, they have blinkers and siren...yet we see them regular on the street, undercover agents etc.,

How to??.. You will need to submit OR/CR and Driver's License photocopy and original for verification, then you will need Mission Order, then you need to fill up forms and submit them to PNP. If anyone don't have police function, then no way to get permit for siren and blinkers.

On the contrary, we see motorcycle and police cars without plates

iv bin browsing thru this thread from quite some time na. iv found the suggestions and advices very informative and helpful. im a proud owner of a 3.2 gls se gemstone grey MS. iv got a couple of questions lng:

1. im just wondering if anyone has modified their front grilles to honey-combed or wire mesh type...any idea where i can get one and how much?

2. i rily wana change the rear fog light cover from red to clear white lng...just like the gls....i will be rewiring it para sumaby cya mag-on with reverse light. any idea where i can get this rear light clear cover? sa casa 2,200 each.

Agree! ..I use U.S whelen brand on my pajero, patrol & landcruiser but i choose to use taiwan siren on my monty because the whelen control unit is too big compared to the taiwan control unit.. no space to fit the big whelen control unit unlike in my other SUV's..

The strobe lights on the video seem slow because of the poor fps on the iphone video..

I dont think montero is only for guys, in fact I have 2 girls friend (not member of this group) that also got Montero and they are very happy with their decision.....super sulit daw money nila if you compare it to other SUVs. or even sedan for that case. Alam mo naman we are in a environment na bahain saka malubak na streets ..... so you really need a tough SUV .... so go ahead get a Monty!
