I was in Baguio a while ago for my weekly Saturday Baguio trip.... Man!!!! it was so foggy!!!!!!! I think that was what we call negative visibility!!!! I can only see the road lines just in front of the car..... I thought the MS fog lights were efficient ... pero I think kulang pa .... I think a conversion to HID lights will fix the problem (at least for me, because I frequent Baguio....)

by the way, were you the one who attended the 2nd eb held at metrowalk...or was it kanuto123? hope you could attend our next eb

Good afternoon sir chng. No HID yet but i'm planning to make an appointment with LXSUNWORX as recommended by sir mikko. the stock lights on our monty are not bright enough (for me, at least) to penetrate the thick fog on marcos highway. i took the photo around 5pm but it was the same on our way up in the morning. on clear weather, the fog usually comes around 3pm.

pareho pala tayo maka petron diesel max , from my experience on our diesel SUV's mas ok compared to shell & caltex..

Hi sir chng, i think it's better to use the lesser challenging marcos highway. I think some of the members will regard the baguio trip as their first long trip... and considering the way up to baguio from la union is another challenge, i just thought that marcos will be better for those who havent tried going up.

and besides, kennon has landslides during rainy season, although i am not sure if september will still have typhoons.... marcos is 15 minutes longer but the road is wider and more refined...

Yeah i've been using petron, and i did hear about it being cleaner than the other 2, but then again, the main reason is because i have a bpi petron card so i can get 3% rebate on my bill.. hehehehe

sir chng, i agree with sir cosmo. if it is still raining in the kennon road area on or before the scheduled road trip, it'll be safer to take marcos highway instead. kennon is prone to rock slides.

Regarding the planned breakfast in urdaneta, jollibee and mcdonald's have small parking lots. Unless there are less than 10 participants in the road trip i think having breakfast at the sm rosales mall will be more convenient with its vast open parking lots.
