Hi Sir j*sto i don't think it will trap any moisture because will not be removing the entire headlight just the bulb.

j*sto you can check kogsundiam.com (LXSUNWORX) .. Mikko & I are using the same brand, I referred it to mikko & he had 3 sets of HID installed last friday.. Good quality HID at a reasonable price..

    * ching comparing mine to yours was a mismatch you should have compared your's with Mikko's HID coz both of you are using 50W , mine is 35W because 50W wasnt available when i had mine installed Nov. last year .. Mine is brighter na if i switch on the high beam

Sir ching lets plan our roadtrip ahead of time.. Guys any suggestions of places to go on our planned roadtrip?

Regarding HIDs, 35W is already sufficient. It has been designed to suit the off road requirements and generally not suitable on steets in the West.

It will just depend on the kelvin you are going to choose. The higher the kelvin rating the lesser effective it is. Overall, a 50W or a 35W? a lot of factor helps in choosing what brand. Which has the good installer, longest warranty, worry-free warranty claims and the price that's right for you

guys, ask ko lang.. how would i know that i'm already engaging my rear lock diffrential..because even If I shift to 4Lc the circle one doesn't illuminate..is this normal? i've read on the manual that you should press the rear diff lock button to engage it but our montero doesn't have that button..only the 4wheels and the center diff lock are illuminating.. So, how could we engage the rear diff lock? we're planning to go offroading with my friends this week ..

I dont think we can do anything on that, just make sure Do Not block the sensor, the sensor is the one to cut compressor...if blocked, the sensor cant sense the tempreture ,the compressor keep running...
As i understand, the sensor located at front passenger seat, do you notice the small screen just infront of 4x4 gear shift ?
Normally i set my temp at 25, unless the weather very hot, also all setting set to auto......
I believe you feel very cool on that day.....

i'll try what you suggested. hope it will work. ty sir chng238.

i have a 35W LXSUN HID installed on my low beam pero i have problems with visibility during night driving, this maybe due to my medium dark 3M full windshield tint. and if i'm not mistaken, sir chng also had the same issue previously that's why he transferred his china 35W HID to his fog and got a 50W xenon for his low beam. correct me if i'm mistaken sir chng.

TIA, if you have the same tint as mine you may want is to consider a 50W.

    cheers,
    howie

i do have 3m medium dark tint as well with full black on sides and rear but luckily i don't have problems driving at night and/or with rains. i am using 6000K 35W Conquer HID on my low and a VTX 3000K on my fog. btw i think it's because i still have a 20/20 vision.

    thanks

depending on your eyesight, that could definitely be a problem. Then again, the tint thing is just a case of getting use to it. Especially when its raining. I've been so use to HIDs, that when i drive other cars at night with just ordinary halogen bulbs, i end up having a harder time. My wife and I have installed 50watt low beams, and we pretty much never have to turn on the brights. The fog lights totally help also having 50watt HIDs installed as well. If you're afraid of blinding the on coming traffic, just adjust the lens of the headlight to point downwards. Plus HIDs are meant for projector type assemblies (like ours) so that the beam is focused and not scattered supposedly also as not to blind on coming traffic.. Look at euro cars with stock HIDs, you'll only see them on cars with projector type headlights.

sir howie for me 35w china/taiwan/branded(but sill its china/taiwan but the difference is maganda ang market nito) has a little difference in light to a 50w hid kit. im using taiwan hid kits for around 6 years na in my van (head/fog lamps) nung pinag tabi ko yung branded hid 50w ng tropa halos parehas lang gusto ko na din mag palit nun ng 50w but my tropa selling accessories told me hindi na neccessary good thing mahina din kumain ng kuryente ang 35 watts good for my loaded vehicle ....

for me konti lang naman difference ng 35w - 50w in light even branded ones pero kaw na din mag dedecide kung ano talaga gusto mo heheheh ..... but i heard din sa tropa ko may ilalabas daw sya 70w hid kit taiwan made siguro naka shades ka na sa loob + tint makaka pag drive ka pa sa gabi ....

Montero Club and MS specs clarification

    Dear Leo,

Again, thanks so much for your kind accomodation whenever i send queries regarding our MS. ' Appreciate it very much.

I was nominated by our recently formed Montero Sport Club Philippines as PRO because of your kind response on my queries which i usually share with my fellow MS enthusiasts.

Recently, members were asking about a specific function on our MS whether it is equipped with immobilizer or not. Could you help me get answer to this question? Which among the 4 variants now (GLS SE 4x4, GLS 4x4, 4x2, 4x4MT) has/ have this good feature?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

    Regards,
