    Goodluck sir!

"hi ____, dis is pdave. I think I lost 1 key of the montero. Can't find it 2 days na. Can you inquire how and how much to get a replacement from the casa? ALso can we reprogram d immobilzer code para di na magamit yung lost key? Will wait for your quick response. ty"

here's the reply after abt 10 minutes:

"Hi sir! suggestion po ng taga parts palitan daw po lahat pati yung pinagpapasukan ng susi para safe. kasi gawa ng nawala yung isang key, palitan daw sir cylinder key set ang tawag nila. P6k daw po."

this procedure seems to quite a chore. may i suggest that you inquire for a second opinion with MMPC. their email address is at the service manual or you mr lim of MMPC - his email address i think is found at the "issues of the montero sport thread." HTH

    Hi sir,
    Thanks for sharing.
I think it's best for you to have a second opinion first, or better yet, get it straight from MMPC just like what sir ianmitsu suggested. Please do check out the info on the manual. Goodluck sir! Please keep us posted!

Mga bro just had my audio upgrade at Candyshop along Banawe and i was surprised with the outcome. boom boom talaga! I have a 12'' L7 sub and they convinced me to enclose it with a T-line enclosure. Grabe i never imagined that my 12'' sub will sound like a pair of 15'' which i had before. If you guys planning to upgrade your sound, visit this shop.

I think replcement of the entire set is the best solution because the key has no internal (inside the key) immobilizer to be identified by the ECU. The service tech cant protect your car by tinkering on th computer to reject the old key. Hence, the old ky can still be used. THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH KEY THAT HAS NO IMMOBILIZER. Opinion lang naman.

That is why i still love my old RAV4!!

thats might be the best idea na palitan mo na ng lahat ng cylinder key pati yung sa pinto kasi ala nga siyan immobilizer. mag alarm pa rin siya pero amng susi eh pasok pa rin sa mga cylinder (pinto at ignition) alin sa dalawa malimas ang loob o dalhin ang sasakyan. mabuti na yung sigurado hirap pa naman maghintay ng release at 1M is 1M compare sa few bucks mo para mawala ang worry mo

next time ingat na lang sa susi !!!

That also mean one of the MMAS remote was with the key that was lost/misplaced.

Hey peeps, no need to wait for 3 months to get a black Monty.

Available ang black Montero Sport 4x2 according to my SA, Regina Soliven. Give her a call 0906-5369498, just tell her Bunny referred it. Easy to deal with. She can release the unit right away.

    She's at Union Motors Paco.
