    Hindi sir, kasi i checked din sa PDF na manual, the valve position sensor is naka built in dun sa egr mismo, dun sa black na bilog.
    Sabi nung SA, MAF/MAP (di ko maintindihan e. baka walang pinagkaiba yung f sa p niya ) sensor daw error tapos itinuro niya sa akin yung sensor na yan. Sabi ko sa anya, yung MAF sensor is yung nasa air filter box. After nun. he insisted na yun daw sira. Labo nga eh.

    Either caltex or petron kami sir. Mas malayo nabyabyahe namin compared sa unioil e.
    Hindi naman erratic rpm sir compared nung nag SCV error kami. Tumataas rpm linearly pero walang power above 2k rpm. Mag CEL siya kapag umabot ka ng 2.5k rpm.

    Tapos umabot once rpm ko ng 4k, sobrang bagal ng arangkada and ang kapal ng usok sa likod haha.
    Kanina binigla ko uli and wala naman nang usok

    MAF - mass air flow sensor. yan yung sensor naman sa may air intake ;)

    you experienced limp mode na kung wala ng power above 2k rpm. yung ecu detected some serious trouble kaya to protect further damage sa transmission, di mo na siya mapatakbo ng mabilis. you need to bring it to your dealership for immediate repair lalo kung under warranty pa.

    Mukhang napamahal ka ata kung yong EGR assembly at MAP hose lang ang nilinis. Kasi sa receipt mo nakalagay intake manifold. And I think the price is really for the intake manifold (~2500) + EGR assembly... At least per my last inquiry, several months ago...

    kaya mahirap sir kapag hindi mo rin kilala SA e. Wala na kasi yung SA na kilala ko before sir.
    pero before nung nilinis nila EGR namin (nasa 20k palang ata nun), they cleaned the intake manifold and the EGR itself din.
    price also includes 1200 for mut scanning and 300(?) for the cleaner.

    ah okay sir. inuninstall ko yung akin before kasi need ko na ng space eh haha. ang iniwan ko nalang is yung repair manual. incomplete nga ata ito. (pre delivery inspection tsaka yung maintenance)

    onga po sir. akala ko kasi may balak na gawing alibi yung SA kaya nagduda rin ako nung sinabi niya MAF/MAP sensor
    hindi ko kasi kilala eh and 2 years na ata kami hindi nag cacasa

    Pero at least alam ko na kung ano pa yung pwedeng pangalingan ng errors. Mas maganda na rin na isama ko siya sa 10k maintenance interval para hindi na maulit. Ang hirap kapag electronic na yung sasakyan eh

    Mga ka-Monty. Due na po ako for 1k PMS. Any tips? Balak ko sana sa Mitsu Valle Verde ipaservice. Ok po ba doon? Hindi ba sila overpriced or madaya?

    Baka galing sa foil ginamit nya kaya natunaw! :D

    I even read from another forum(www.pocuk.com)that one uses a softdrink aluminum can and was splitted accross the hole!

    I got 2mm SS plate para sure.

    LMAO on the foil or soda cans as blank plates , with my 2mm SS plate from Zix, after 10k kms inspection, no signs of any damage/deformations so far.. kitang kita though yung fine soot buildup na naipon sa exhaust side na bina block nya when I removed the plate for inspection.

    Mga sir may idea ba kayo how much it will cost ang magpa blanking ng egr at yung cost ng OCC parang meron akong nakita sa BLADE before it cost about 3.5K tama ba mga sir?

    May nabasa ako sa ibang thread na may natunawan daw ng plate due to excessive egt. Yung iba naman daw tinatanggal na egr and instead of using a plate, bolt on assembly na daw para mas makapal.

    Honestly i prefer kasi sana na all stock lahat haha. Pero kung madalas na ito mangyari, magpa blank na ako haha.

    Mukhang hindi siya interesado. Parang walang balak magbago ng isip, unlike me
    He told me na maghanap nalang daw ng OBD scanner at kung ok price, ganon nalang daw kesa mag CASA kami everytime CEL occurs.
    I also told him na kapag ayaw niya ng blanking, every 10k or 20k nalang ipabaklas intake manifold at egr para mapaclean. Yun nga lang, kailangan magaling mekaniko at may alam. Onti palang ata may alam sa EGR system (gasoline stations mechanics)

    Mga sir ano po ba magiging disadvantage pag nag pa egr blanking? 9mos. Na monty ko pero 5k km palang naman tinatakbo. 2x a week lang kc nagagamit. Ty

    wala namang magiging disadvantage sir except sa nakaka-contribute ka sa pagsira ng environment;) purpose kasi ng EGR is to lower yung NOx level ng exhaust gas. basahin mo na lang sir sa wiki para malinawan ka...

    advantages marami, more power in lower rpm, no more black smoke, cleaner intake manifold, no more cleaning of EGR, no more loss of power due to clogged EGR. and the big advantage is cost saving kasi di mo na madalas ipalinis ang manifold mo at EGR. HTH
