Sir Erwin ako po since i only have a 2ndhand 2010 model hindi ko na ipinapasok pa sa Casa tulad ng sabi mo masyadong mahal sa kasa, taga ang singil nila doon, bukod sa mahal na ang parts eh mahal pa ang labor. Ok lang sana kung libre lang ang labor at parts nalang ang babayaran mo swabe sana. Since i do have a trusted and suking car maintenance shop (Anlu) i always take my car to them for service. Since this is my 3rd car na since i bought my very first ride wala namang naging issue with them hanggang sa maibenta ko na ulit yung other cars for an upgrade. Mura na singil, mura din ang parts, they will actually give you a choice for the parts that you want, either genuine or after market. Tapos pwede mo pa silang panoorin habang sineserbisan ang sasakyan mo and you get the chance to watch and learn.
Swabe diba? so i'll stick to my suking talyer nalang...

February 28th, 2014 10:28 PM #3If you are living in south luzon, anlu has two shops: along sta. Rosa - Tagaytay Rd after Nuvali if you're heading to Tagaytay and in Sta. Rosa proper in Balibago. Both in Laguna.

Rosa, Laguna on the way to Tagaytay it is along the road po just after AUP if i am not mistaken. napaka helpful ng mga mekaniko, even the owner himself will give you some advise, opinion and suggestions. February 22nd, 2014 09:34 AM #10sir prince, here in carworld pampanga, they offered a 5-year warranty when I got my unit in 2010, but you have to pay an additional 10k or 20k (not sure of the exact amount) for the selling price of the unit.... i did not accept the offer.... Kung may scanner sana kami, baka 400 lang nagastos haha. I guess its time to invest in one
Anyone knows ano yung sensor found just above the EGR? 7K daw yan kapag nasira eh. (yung may blue clip and kung saan siya naka attach)
Sabi, nilinis daw yung hose (vacuum hose, yung pababa hehe) and yung EGR and the downpipe. Nabara daw ng carbon.
IIRC, nung nagpalinis ako ng EGR noon, yung valve lang yung nalinis ng mabuti. Yung downpipe hindi ata nalinis.

Some other Montero owners may also learn from your experience... Dapat din palang nache-check yung hose that connects the intake manifold and MAP pressure transmitter for clogging... Tama po yung suggestions ng iba to install na ng OCC, EGR blanking and have invested sa mga portable OBD2 scanner, at least kasi ay may idea na kayo what possible problem that you have with our cars before dalhin sa casa... Mukhang marami narin po nagkakaroon ng ganong problem sa montero and strada kasi step by step nila ginawa yung pag process ng fault. Sinimulan muna sa basic tapos kapag hindi maayos, palit na daw ng sensor.

February 25th, 2014 06:24 PM #19babynos01, medyo madami-dami ka na din nagastos sa montero mo ah. The problems you had are actually ones that can be prevented from happening. That is why we advocate some minor modifications like EGR blanking to every new Montero owner that comes across this forum. The MAP sensor clogging is connected to the presence of the EGR system. And yes, EGR blanking can save this from happening again.

Ano fuel gamit nyo sir? Kaya erratic na rpm nyo sir kasi di na gumagalaw yata yung egr valve nyo. ;)
Hope nagblank na kayo sir. If not, linis uli after around 10k kms.
