good pm,

i had my 1000 km two days ago at diamond Q.A, total bill was 6158.92.
(ms 4x2 gls)
turbo xp synthetic,filter oil,varsol,car care kit,rags (listed sa receipt)

my concern is, after i got my car, i noticed parang hindi naman napalitan ang oil filter, i asked the SA and of course he said napalitan., i asked for the old parts pero how would i know na akin nga ang parts since ang dami mga mS na nag papa service dun.

mga sirs, any advice how i can verify if talagang nag change oil and nagpalit ng oil filter? or wala na ako habol, trust nalang talaga. the only reason naman kaya ako nagduda kasi when i saw the oil filter sa engine parang wala siya sign na nagalaw kasi may dust pa siya around it. also when i got the car wala yun mga old case ng oil, oil filter sa trunk...sa honda kasi after pms they usually put the parts replaced sa trunk.

i went back there to again to complain but hinarap sa akin ang mechanic na gumawa and he said na change daw niya yan and that hindi daw sila mandaraya dun.

actually whatever happens, sa 5000 km pms, lalagyan ko na ng marking ang filter na luma para alam ko if napalitan nila or hindi.

dapat nag check ka muna sa thread na ito kasi andito na lahat ng mga advise patungkol dyan.
i think mukhang hindi napaltan ang oil filter mo kasi kung bago pa yan dapat walang dust yan kasi naka box at totally dust free un filter before ilagay.
come to think of it, 1k pms pa lang yan and definitely un oil filter pwede pa gamitin then on 5k pms saka lang nila papaltan.

car care kits? (compose of what?)

we have the same issue sir. di ata na reset ng casa but the funny thing is im now on 2000km but the message saying is that 1000 km "Preventive Maintenance Required" mukhang kukulitin ako nito every 1000km

To remove the PMS reminder, just do the following:
* Press the center of the triangle for a couple of seconds until you see a password required board.
* Enter 6923.

It works for me. I have read it somewhere in the montero sports thread...
