sir ilan na ba mileage? sa manual kasi every 100000kms yung transfer case, kaya nung buksan ko yung sakin at 45000, eh parang bago pa talaga yung oil, sayang. yung front diff. halos bago pa din, pero yung rear pwede na at 45k(sa gamit ko-everyday use, 4h once in a while when slippery roads). kaya i made a personal table na lang based sa usage ko when to change rear/front gear oil and transfercase oil. ( reference , from casa 0km to 45000kms actual inspections/change of oils)

*zix, 30kms lang ako sir. 2+ years old montero. pero sabi kasi sa PMS menu ng Mitsubishi every 30k kms palit ng transmission, transfercase and gear oil. Palit ako ngayon then plan ko every 50k kms thereafter na pag out of warranty na. Para lang di ma void sakaling magkaproblema.

ayos yan sir red07, mura na yan 3.4k sa 5k pms kasi mineral ang inilagay na oil. aabot ng 5.5k yan kung synthetic oil ng casa ang ginamit....

Haha thanks for the advise sir. Yung front and rear differential na lang muna papagalaw ko. taking into consideration na nilulusong ko sa baha yung sasakyan. Yung sa tranny hesitant ako kasi may mga nababasa ako dito (strada) na nagbago feel ng transmission in terms of shifting gears (manual trans ako) kasi SAE 90 fluid lang din ata nilagay ng casa kaya multigrade binili ko.. Yung tansfercase, yes pa 4H lang naman din ako pag umuulan, magamit lang. hehe.

Since nabili ko na yung fluids, I can just store it lang naman. For how long kaya? May idea ka sir? hehe. thanks.

*doc jayvee, as long as you do not open the cover of your fluids, then it will last long. Just don't open them.

Pwede naman po i advise nyo yung SA nyo na wag na isama sa bill yung DT, that's what i did from my 5K, 10K and 15K PMS..due na rin ako for 20K kaya ipon muna..

Beware of SFM-Lipa

Nagpa 1000 PMS ako dito pero ang ginawa kinabitan ng pang Adventure na oil filter ang Montero Sport.Nilagay nila MD068782 na dapat ay 1230A045. Kaya pala mura change oil nila sa MS Php2,800 murang oil filter nilalagay nila. Buti na lang nagtanong ako sa Citimotors sa nilagay nilang filter, kung nagamit ko ng matagal makakasaman sa makina, apektado daw oil flow at filtration.

Yes it does, pero sa ibaba, may nakalagay na suitable for gas and diesel engines.
Yun nga lang, medyo mababa TBN nito. Around 7 to 8 lang. For diesels, mas mataas mas maganda.

Every 10k ako nagpapalit sir e. Fully synthetic naman kasi. Pero a lot of montero owners change their oil frequently. Say, every 5k on a mineral oil while others do 5k din pero fully synthetic.
On this case, baka sa 5k ako mapalit. Try ko lang haha.

Mukhang hindi normal yan sir since malapit na byahe lang naman yung tagaytay if you're coming from NCR. Ilang inches ang binaba? Did you notice if yung katabi nyong monty is naka bigger mags or tires? I heard pagnagpalagay ka ng spring cushion medyo tataas din yung ride height.

Bumaba ng 1 or 2 inch kasi yung side mirror ko eh kita kita side by side sa monty na stock. Pero nagpanic lang pala ako that time, ngayon ayoko na mag full tank pag long travel, half tank na lang. Thanks sir!

parang imposible naman yan sir na bumaba? maaring sleeepy ka lang nung time na yun at namali ka lang ng pansin sa tinabihan mo para ma-aktwal mo, much better refer ka sa manual kung anong min. ground clearance (i think nasa 215mm, not so sure!) then sukatin mo kung bumaba nga. mahirap kasi sa tingin lang tayo nagbabase. in case may deflection nga sa suspension mo ay pwede mo siguro ibalik sa casa yan ng macheck nila. HTH

ok lang yan sir sleepy, pero ok din na napansin mo kasi once na bumaba talaga ay may problema sa suspension mo. normal lang kapag mabigat talagang bababa pero babalik naman yan sa dati. you need to fill in full tank sir lalo kapag malayuan ang byahe kasi di mo sure sa pupuntahan mo o along the way kung may fuel station ba o ok ba quality ng krudo sa destination mo. be wary about the quality of fuel kasi maraming cases na problema ng ibang montero users ay dahil sa maruming diesel. tingin ko naman ay full tank + 7 pasahero ay yakang-yaka ng montero natin at di pa gagapang...

Good day mga sirs,

Had my 1000 km PMS at DCT Holdings Balintawak with the following:
Baldwin BD28 (c/o a fellow tsikotero)
Delo gold Ultra 7 L
Miscellaneous items (casa)

Total cost 2648

SA is Mr Nelson Tangog. Mabait and magalang and allowed me to watch the PMS. Yung mechanic ko di na naiangat ang car initially kasi puno ang casa so ang nagawa is change filter and oil lang tapos check engine bay and lights. Medyo ok naman na sana ako but when I told Sir Nelson na hindi pwede yun and kailangsn nila gawin ang tightening ng bolts. I was impressed with customer service kaya definitely dun na ko for my 5000km. Brought the car in ng mga 8am, tapos na ng 10am.

Anybody nagpa-1km PMS sa Peak motors Manila Bay? Do they allow you to bring your own oil, etc? Medyo mahal kasi pag sa kanila lahat, nasa 7K. Nagtanong ako sa SA, hindi daw pwede, pero as per some posts here, wag daw maniniwala sa mga SAs eh. Pa-share naman ng experience on this. Thanks in advance.
