ngayon ko lang napansin na 8 liters ng oil ang naka-charge. di ba dapat 7 lang? nilagay kaya lahat yun? although may isinoli sa akin na 1 bottle na half yung laman. di ko na kasi nacheck kahapon yung details coz madami kasabay na resibo pinapirmahan at medyo nagmamadali na ako. brought the car in at around 1:20pm at natapos ng 4pm. anybody experienced this "8 liters thing"?

Sir dapat masunod ang nasa manual na SAE 75w-85/ GL-3 or GL-4 para sa manual transmission at transfercase. Kahit anong brand importante 75-85 GL-3 or 4, kung hindi at ibang SAE viscocity mapapalagay gaganit ang shifting, ibang iba. Sa ibang casa SAE-90 nilalagay nila sa M/T resulta hard shifting tapos sasabihin talagang ganoon. Masisira synchronizer ng transmission pag nag hard shifting na. Ang problema mahirap makahanap 75-85 kahit sa casa wala ata.
Sa differential GL-5, kahit SEA-90 LS puede na wala din SAE-80 dito na specs sa manual.
Try to find Redline MT-80 or Castrol Syntrans 75W-85 for M/T.
*perrydel, Sir thank you. Very valuable input. It seems kailangan ko maghanap talaga. Sa differential, mukhang madali lang makakahanap ng GL-5 SAE 90. Problema ko yung GL-4 75W-85 for the transfercase and manual tranny. Wala pa ako nakita na ganyan ang specs. Puro 90 grade e.
yes, i opted for the synthetic oil kaya inabot ng 5k++.. around 2,800++ lang sana kung mineral oil.
di ba free ang labor sa first 1k & 5k pms? bakit meron nakacharge sa into na 480. sa receipt ko kasi nakaindicate din yan pero ZERO ang charge. free din yung cleaning materials at rags.

I was able to buy Castrol MTF The protector series 80W-90 GL-4 for my manual tranny and transfercase. Mobilube HD GL-5 80W-90 for the differentials. Yung Mag 1 nakakita ako fully synthetic 75W-90 pero GL-5 super mahal and mineral 80W-90, but bought the Mobilube since it was cheaper.
yes, nagulat nga ako nung gumamit sila ng engine flush. nalaman ko lang nung tapos na at nagbayad na ako. di ko nga sure kung talagang ginamitan nila eh. ginamit ko din yung coupon dun sa green warranty booklet pero may bayad talaga.sir sa ibang casa 1st 1000k pms free po yon may coupon jan sa green na booklet, tapos ang engine flush is too early for 1000k pms sayang lang P715.00 at P480.00 na labor ng 1000k pms.
sir ilan na ba mileage? sa manual kasi every 100000kms yung transfer case, kaya nung buksan ko yung sakin at 45000, eh parang bago pa talaga yung oil, sayang. yung front diff. halos bago pa din, pero yung rear pwede na at 45k(sa gamit ko-everyday use, 4h once in a while when slippery roads). kaya i made a personal table na lang based sa usage ko when to change rear/front gear oil and transfercase oil. ( reference , from casa 0km to 45000kms actual inspections/change of oils)
Mga sir, tanong ko lang kung naadjust ba height ng monty naten? kung meron paano at magkano nagastos. After kasi bumyahe galing ng tagaytay with 7 passengers pag tabi ko last night sa gasoline station sa isang monty napansin ko bumaba talaga. Thanks!
Hi Zix, aside from almost 7 liters of oil for a 2.5L monty engine, how many liters are required for the rear/front gear oil, tranny oil (MT & AT) and transfercase oil (first time I've heard of this)? Sa previous diesel vehicle ko dati there's only the engine, tranny and rear gear oil to replace.
Mukhang hindi normal yan sir since malapit na byahe lang naman yung tagaytay if you're coming from NCR. Ilang inches ang binaba? Did you notice if yung katabi nyong monty is naka bigger mags or tires? I heard pagnagpalagay ka ng spring cushion medyo tataas din yung ride height.

para ma-aktwal mo, much better refer ka sa manual kung anong min. ground clearance (i think nasa 215mm, not so sure!) then sukatin mo kung bumaba nga. mahirap kasi sa tingin lang tayo nagbabase. in case may deflection nga sa suspension mo ay pwede mo siguro ibalik sa casa yan ng macheck nila. HTH
