Question - what kind of mat are you using for your FM 2001? I already have 3M mats in front but i couldn't find one for the center seat. The shape is different from the usual shape of 3M mats. How did you guys do it? I was told to buy the one sold per meter and then cut it into the right shape. Pretty expensive though. Thanks!

    1. Pwede ba magpakabit netong tire pressure indicator? baka surplus meron?

hay saya saya... BTW, pinastipulate ko din sa deed of sale na i warranty yung aircon kahit 2months pumayag naman hehe.

Congrats Bro. Bisita, I suggest you wait for BDO kasi mas mababa rate nila. have you tried BPI? Alam ko mas mababa BPI plus meron silang almost P200/month discount sa amortization pag in-advance payment mo. I have a bad experience sa Premier bank but that is for commercial loan. Sa BPI for 2nd hand cars 12mos/9.25%, 18mos/13.10% and 24mos/19.65%. check mo sa website nila.

Here is what I did before ko pa binayaran pajero. I asked for a copy of the OR/CR then dinala ko agad sa Pasig para ipa-check kung malinis papel. You can also try this text LTO VEHICLE <Plate#> to 2600 (No space in between sa plate # and must be enclosed by <> you will receive an alert if the unit is clear or hot car. Pati color and date of last registration will be provided ng auto reply.

sir testament11 marami pong salamat sa reply nyo taga bulacan din pla kyo like my dad and wife, 1 more question po regarding the registration. since na transfer po sa name nyo na yung pajero and you can register it in bulacan...

1.) is the field office still "appari district office"? or "manila district office"? cla na po kc ang mag aasikaso ng papers.. eh ang alam ko lang pag local unit.

2.) and madali lang po ba i align ung passenger side view mirror? medyo naka labas kc yung angle pag ginamit yung power fold function unlike sa local or do I have to buy a new set?

I felt it was slugish since I was testing it in 4H mode cguro much faster yun if 2H mode. Sana ok nga po lahat, medyo kampante na ko since you say na mas ok yung conversion sa cagayan. Just cant wait to get it and install alcohol injection..hehehe

4m40 engine ay nasa gen 2.5 body, which is yung fieldmaster. kaso ang jdm, meron agad 4m40 engine kahit gen. 3rd is rim size. 16" ang local fm at 15" lang ang sa jdm na gen. 2

    1. nope, from cagayan, yung former field office is now transferred to LTO guiginto, kasi dun ko naparehistro yung pajero ko

well, good luck bro and basahin mo nalang ang pm ko sa yo

congrats sir bisita.. won't regret ung new FM nyo..

my ride nga po pala si jdm 2.8L with FM body na po, the antenna is transferred na po sa right side.. noticeable na lng po na jdm eh ung rear side window.. buo pa din siya, tska po ung sun roof, pero been using it for a year and no regrets..

sir testament meron din o akong 3 way switch for the door locks place on the left side below the fog light switch.. very convenient po.. before po kasi i have to turn sideways just to reach the door lock, kinabit po to when i had my alarm installed.. siguro pwede po diy nyo ito parang sa alarm naka tap ung wirings.

sir pb rear oil seal nga po.. ito daw po ung seal from the camshaft na papuntang transmission.. kasi they open up the opening sa my crankcase eh dun po nanggagaling ung oil.. very minimal nmn po pero nakakairita every time i left the garage eh my spot of oil.. the oil seal itself is cheap less than 1.5k oem parts na po.. ung labor cost is 4x.. they have to pull down the transmission to have access on the seal... haay.. gastos na nmn..

Washable and lifetime daw (can anyone confirm?)

Mine is a 91 JDM (95 local) Gen 2 pero walang cladding. Got it more than 2 years ago.

Generally, satisfied naman ako but I've spent almost P150,000 on various "problems". In my case, my problem is mechnics more than the Pajero itself. Kung isama ko pa mga quotation galing sa ibang repair shops add P100,000 more to my expenses. But looking back, I incur about P50,000 in unnecessary expenses.

Got a new condenser then at may pinaayos lang sa isang shop. Kinalas ba naman ang condenser na OEM and still under warranty. Mabagal din hatak and various mechanics estimated the cost from P50,00-80,000 (from surplus tranny to overhaul). But na lang, while having my car checked for underchasis problem (squeaking), I told the mechanic of my problem regarding the poor hatak, he adjusted the acceleration cable and after a few test drive OK na. Libre ito kasi free diagnosis but I gave him P200.One time din when I noticed some squeakign sound e ipinasok ko sa rapide. After more than an hour of diagmistics, may sirange bearing daw and delikado kasi madadamay ibang parts. Quote sa akin P30,000 yata. Buti na lang short budget ko so few days later, while filling my JDM at a gas station, I noticed the presence of mechnics on a Saunday. Pinacheck ko lang and after applying some grease on the fan belt, solve problem ko. That was about 1-1.2 years ago and OK pa until now.

Recently (the underchassis problem I mentioned above) P60,000 quote ng problem ng isang repair shop along banawe. I brough my JDM to an underchasis shop and less than P6,000 lang. It is truye na kaya mahal kasi brand new and replacement of parts ang culprit and maaring masmatibay ito. But as the mechanic where I had my car repaired told me. Kitia pa kami (or something like that).

Maybe I should have saved a little more and buy a FM kasi newer look and more powerful engine pero sa akin OK naman ang Gen2 ko. My real problem is mechanics more than a 17 year old car (now 18).

Sana someone can post shops that fixes JDM and not frown upon them. Gagawan pa ng kwento on how terrible a JDM is and recommend all sorts of repars.
