Hanapin mo lang sa Mitsubisishi section ng 4x4wire.com . Andun yun. Torsion bars can sag over time. Pero wala pa kong nakitang failure. You just crank the adjuster until you reach the desired height. Too much cranking will stiffen the ride and get your alignment out of spec.

I cut down the upper bumpstops to have the size to regain some down travel after I cranked my bars.

Patanung lang tungkol sa Montero ko, when igot it lifted na sya ng silipin ko yong susp. arm sa front sagad yong rubber stoper and stiff na yong ride nya sa front. Gusto ko sana mas malambot na ride sa rear walang problem but sa front medyo matigas nagpalit narin ako ng shocks sa front KYB lang na fluid type medyo matigas parin. Pag ni lower ko naman parang pangit ang tindig nya subsub mataas ang likod. May iba pa bang way to have i better ride sa front? Thnks

salamat boss otep! another query! may alam ba kayo na shop sa blumentritt na nagbebenta ng rims saka gulong na ok? nagtanong kasi ako dun and di ako makapaniwala na kukunin lang yun set ng rims and tires ko for 10 k 5 pcs kahit na bago daw yun mga gulong ko. Kaya tuloy naudlot yun plano ko magpalit ng size 16 rims... huhuhu!!! baka 15 rims na lang din saka sound setup na lang

Bawasan mo yung upper rubber stopper. Meron talagang low profile na nabibili niyan kaso mahal ata dahil polyurethane. Ganun ang gamit ni woodfire. Kaya nilagare na lang namin sa bahay ni GlennSter. Ok naman.

I have read all your posts here and i learned a lot of things. By the way I just bought my FM last december 2005.medyo mataas pero satisfied naman ako at sariwa.problema ko lang now is yung vibration sa pedal ng brake when I tried at 160Km/hr sa NLEX.sabi ng mekanoko ko palitan daw rotor disc.di ba advisable reface like what I did in my corolla?san makabili mura na magandang klase. thanks in advance.

By the way mga guros I am planning to change my rims,katataos ko lang sa sound set up ko gumastos.how much ba ang aabutin sa 20" with series 50 na gulong?I saw here in Jakarta and they gave me 18,000,000.00 rupia more or less 96,000 Php set of 4 rim and tire na. yung rim may apat na designs but price are all the same. the rims are Made in Taiwan.Mura na ba to?I need your inputs kasi nilililgawan ko pa si kumander baka pumayag bibili na ako sa paguwi ko dyan sa May. thanks

Pk yup meron pa nung click sound. nagtest light din kung may power yung metal na nagcoconect sa apat na plugs. ok pa. tinest din niya each plug by removing the connecting rod then connected a wire sa positive terminal ng batt, tapos kiniskis niya yung end ng each glow plug meron spark pag dinidikit. meaning daw nun ok pa plugs. tama ba itong way ng testing?

Buhay pa ba ang single action shock in this day and age? hehehe. All shocks have damping in both the compression and extension phase. Mas mahina lang sa compression because there is a torsion bar (or spring depending on suspension type) to further control motion.

i need a good and honest mechanic, yung hindi taga maningil.. a general overhaul is in order. preferably manila area, specifically near tondo.

btw, please suggest things to look out for and replacement brands na ok.

Hi Vikoy, I had mine replaced na, after hearing some unreliability stories with refacing. Unreliability sa trabaho and not necessarily brake failure. I replaced my front rotors with replacements which set me back around 2k, forgot lang if for both na ito or for 1 wheel lang hehe. Try inquiring sa Eldorado.

Depends on the brand of wheels and tires.

Dito makakakuha ka ng mga 80k for rota extreme 20"s and Nankang tires 205/45-20

Pag imported rims and jap tyres, nasa 120k total cash out.

Actually it isnt the spark the mechanic should be looking at.

try dipping the end of the plug in diesel or kerosene. tapos power up the plug by connecting it to a battery. the tip should smoulder.

May cases kasi na may resistance pa rin yung plug (causing a spark), but not enough to 'glow'.

Sir isa pa pong tanong matagal ko nang problema to sa corolla ng misis ko.yung rotor nya twice ko na napareface then after three week may kumakagaskas na sound kapag alalay yung apak ng preno.some mechanics say palit daw ng pads, then ganun pa din.after two week nung bagong pads pinaitan ng misis ko ng original pads kasi matigas daw yung replacement at may tanso na halo.then two weeks lang bumalik ulit.last na pinagawa ko is pinagalit ko yung mga lata na washer ng pads,yung sa may piston side nilipat ko sa labas.then naokey for 2 months.paguwi last feb ginamit ko kotse nya for three days bumalik ulit kaya galit na galit yung misis ko kaskasero daw ako.brad help naman kung tama ba yung plano ko, papalitan ko na rotor at mga washer na lata kasi yung pads ko 90% pa.ayaw gamitin ni misis yung kotse nya hanggat di ko daw matanggal yung tunog na yun so gamit nya pajero baby ko.at ikatutuwa ng driver nya.sarap daw imaneho kesa kotse.please help....

hmmmm, di ako siguro kasama sa stories na narinig mo ;)

we had the rotors refaced i think at about 40T kms, and it's doing okay naman. the vibrating went back though, but after we changed brake pads (upod na kasi), it went away :D

gayahin niyo si pajheroy, ganda ng front rotors niya, slotted rotors from DBA, bling brakes, with bliing rims. ganda! hehehe.
