pajerokid..ung interior squeaks dahil sa leather seats...super nakakaiirita sa gen2.5 namin dati....eh bago naman un meron na agad squeaks..pero i dunno if pag lagyan ng leather conditioner, mawawala...

Glenn, ganyan po talaga ang mga seats na maraming 'tricks', yung sa RAV4 ko na black ganyan din.

afaik yung 2.8L lang ang meron AT locallt, but then again i could be wrong.

Alam ko meron dapat indicator kasi may glowplug yun. Kahit self test lang.

Hmmm weird. si Green One parang hindi ko nakitang nag-ilaw yung glow plug. But i just came back from goldpark, Red One's glow plug indicator is working.... ano kaya problema?

Galing ng 4M40, hindi mausok when revved. Kaya lang mabagal nga when paired with the A/T.

Pondo na lang prublema.

O seriyosong usapan ulit. More Questions.

1) The Gen2.5 has an airbag. Paano ba gagawin ko kung gusto kong lagyan ito ng Momo Steering? I mean, when it comes to the circuitry

2) If i decide to retain the said steering (medyo pangit and upod), Pwede kayang i-reupholster siya w/in a day?

3) Am i correct in this assumption--> if the glow plug indicator does not light up, there's a problem with the glow plug relay? Or is it the Glow plugs themselves? (alternative faults may be just the dashboard bulb)

1) You can always take out the steering wheel. Self-contained naman sa loob nito ang airbag and the explosives that ignite it. Ingat lang sa pagtanggal kasi baka mag-trigger. Better remove the battery first before pulling out the steering wheel. Yung crash sensor lang naman ang outside of the airbag (I think its under the dashboard). You don't have to take it out. All it does is send an electrical current to the airbag explosives when it detects a crash. Just tape the wires that connect to the steering wheel.

2) In theory, yes. Kung walang ibang gagawin ang mananahi mo.

3) Could be a dashlight problem. Otherwise magiging hard starting siya. When the glowplugs on our GEN I failed, the glowplug lamp still lit up. Pero 3 cycles bago magstart.

More follow up Qs.

For question 1) Hindi kaya iilaw yung SRS light sa dash? kasi hindi complete yung circuit ng airbag?

For Question 3) That's weird. I dont seem to recall the glow plug relay clicking. Hopefully its just the relay. Oh, and hindi nga siya "0ne click start". It MUST be the relay. Anyways, mura lang naman. I wonder if the glowplugs are ok.

Iilaw yun. Just take out the bulb. Madali lang naman alisin. Just don't forget to put it all back together when you sell the vehicle as a courtesy to the next owner.

Ayaw talaga Oteps, wala nga yung friendly "click" sound nung relay.... oh well.

LAST Q. Meron bang rear speakers (ala Paj natin) yung gen 2.5?

Meron din namang speakers. Natatakpan ng third row jumpseats (same location). I thought 6X9's ang laman. Yung pala small speakers lang na rivetted to a large steel plate (pang 6X9 kasi ang butas).

sir pk
nagpalit ako ng glowplugs 4 pcs 500/pc nung 39th kms. nasira na lahat. mas nauna pa nasira glow plugs ng gen 2.5 vs our 95 gen 2.

yung 6th yun nga yung sticker sa door. dati kasi nung bago palang yung limited 10th ang quote saakin, nagmura na siya.

yung sound sa 2nd row seats kumikiskis po yung leather sa door sides (2nd row door armrest.) naglagay lang ako ng tape nawala naman yung ingay(pangit tignan, if ever meron kana gen2.5 baka maddiskartehan mo, share nalang)..

Mine has 6x9. Its a 99model Gen 2.5.
