    good day!

    question lang mga sir... im one of those who used the lancer fogs for our pajero... pwede po ba papalitan yun to HIDS?

    and ilang liters usually po ba ang nagagamit for ATF replacement?
    how much per liter and yung filter na rin... im planning on replacing the ATF coz medyo hindi na mamula mula ang kulay.
    thanks

I got mine oct 8, 1999.

I think its possible. sa ATF mga 3 to 4 liters lang kung drain lang. pag palit pati filter mga 6 liters. take note always check your atf level pag naka on engine, laruin mo yung gear shift form drive to park para umikot yung oil. pag patay engine may tendency tumaas yung level pag start mo, hassle mag tanggal uli.

HTH
    Hi pb. Thanks for the information. Now i will try Mitsubishi Pampanga kasi sa Bataan na ako naka-settle. Anyway, i got in contact with Dong Manalac of Carworld Mitsubishi Pampanga and here was the estimate that he gave me for the 80K kms Heavy Checkup of the Pajero Fieldmaster:

    Labor:
    Perform heavy checkup = 2,145.00
    Wheel balancing and tire rotation = 492.80
    Wheel alignment = 1,400.00
    Complete wash = 865.00

    Parts:
    Oil filter = 1,908.48
    7 liters Fully synthetic motor oil = 3,920.00
    Air filter = 1,024.80
    Fuel filter = 2,238.88
    5 liters coolant = 758.24
    3 liters gear oil = 558.00
    5 liters ATF (Caltex) = 1,012.25
    Engine flush = 250.00
    Brake cleaner = 250.00
    Fittings grease = 223.96
    Weights = 300.00
    Fuel system cleaner = 530.00
    Windshield cleaner = 140.00
    Anti-rust penetrant = 195.00

    Labor = 4902.80
    Parts = 13,309.61

    Total: 18,212.41 pesos

    I still have to inquire kung meron silang 10% discount sa total cost. They informed me that it will take 4 hours for the whole service.

    larshell, di ka ba nahirapan alisin yung screw ng mudguards na nakadikit sa stepboard. yung 4 screw na walang ulo. yung akin kasi pagpihit ko ng nut sa ilalim sumama yung ulo kaya merdyo nahirapan ako alisin. ilang liters pala ng oil gamit mo sa pajero mo?

    nelany, My tire pressure is 32 psi sa harap. 34 sa likod. Im using ordinary kyb fluid shocks kaya malambot shocks ko, kaya tinigasan ko gulong ko para hindi masyado maaalon.

    instech, mukhang reasonable naman ang price ng parts, sa labor lang talaga mahal. hmmm di nila papalitan AT filter mo. at 80k rin napalitan ko akin. medyo makapal narin dumi. dont forget yung coolant flush bago nila refill. imho pwede mo wag na pagawa alignment sa kanila kung wala ka naman problems ng kabig or uneven wear ng tires. the only time nagpa align ako sa pajero ko was nung pinapalitan ko lahat ng front suspension parts ko at 100k kms and nung nagpalit ako 4 tires. last february 2008 ako huling pumunta sa caraworld pampanga and singil saakin sa turbo XP is 500 per liter tapos may 10% discount pa. mukhang nagtaas na sila ng price. parang sobra yata yung 7 liters na oil, for sure may sobra yan.

    I did not touch those screws kasi mahirap talaga pihitin yan. What I did was I detached the step board with it. Hindi ako nahirapan madali lang pag kasama mo sya tinangal. Pero I saw our tinsmith using this special grip. Parang vice grip that is shape like square clamp. Baka pwede yon pang hawak sa rounded head screw.

    Using 6lts of oil with my Pajero engine.

    Thanks PB. Pareho ng tire pressure ang gamit ko. Baka pag mataas pa dito yung pressure ay madaling sumabog pag malubak.

    larshell, may ganyang tool pala. too late pinilit ko na lahat eh. hehe medyo nalilito nga ako sa oil capacity ng pajero. parang may idea na ako kung bakit nagbabago. I used VIC filter dati nung hindi ako makakuha ng oem dito, 6 liters nga sakto. oem filter ko almost 6 and 1/2 liter nagagamit ko. mas maliit siguro ng konti yung VIC filter.

    nelany, kayang kaya ng AT tires yan, rating ng tires ko is max 65 psi. pag byahe ako with stocks kinakargahan ko hanggang 40 psi.

    PB,

    Yes, I'm using Vic Filter now yong 4D56 kaya siguro hindi pa naubos yong 6Lts. may natitira pang konti. Kapag ginagamit ko yong filter for 4M40 (VIC) yun may drain plug sa ilalim yun 6lts sakto.
