    hi peeps had my timing belt done yesterday

    parts 8,200 (belts,bearing,oil seal) El dorado cubao
    labor 1,200 freelance mekanik Dennis (kalbo) el dorado cubao
    brought the car at 10:30am done by 12:15pm bilis gumawa wala ng paligoy basta tira ng tira kahet mainit pa makina....so far so good no squeeking sounds, ride is smooth ....

    9,400 all in

    okey pa ung water pump pero i plan to change it end of the month naubos na budget kahapon eh

    nelany, bro pang gen 2 timing belt, yung atin gen 2.5 timing chain tayo. hintay mo nalang mag ingay bago mo papalitan. ideal ang 200k sa timing chain bago palitan, but swertehan din, yung ibang kasamahan natin dito napuputulan as early as 80k. based sa mga nabasa ko, ramdam mo daw walang power below 1.5k rpm, tunog may pumapalong kdena sa loob ng makina. tuwing palit ng valve cover gasket pacheck natin kung maluwag na.

    Ito iyung post ko regarding sa problem why I changed my timing chain ko. nagpalit din ako ng guide at tensioner. Parang abot sa P9K inabot gastos ko pwera labor. Iba ingay parang cyclical na hugong ang the more you rev the noisier it becomes.

    Sa water pump, nagtanong ako sa ATCO at El Dorado di nagkakalayo price ~~ P8.5K. May temporary fix lang na ginawa now at kailangan palitan. Baka sa bandang april pa ako magpalit..

    Bro PB, dcarin14 TY sa update ninyo. Kala ko magpapalit na ako ng timing belt. Nawala sa isip ko na timing chain pala yung sa atin FM. Natakot ako na baka abutin ako ng tirik sa daan. So far wala namang abnormal sa ingay sa makina ko.

    Biniyahe ko yung FM ko sa Tagaytay using yung SLEX. Sarap yung hatak lalo na ng K&N filter na ang gamit ko. Habulan kami ng bagong CRV model ng kasama ko.

    Nag trouble naba yong power door locks nyo? May trouble kasi yun power door locks ko.

    larshell, yup matagal na nangyari saakin yan.
    option 1: buy oem drivers side actuator. 5k yata yun
    option 2: replacement actuator 500 lang sa banawe, but you also have to buy the main module another 500 pesos. next time may masira actuator sa ibang doors, actuator nalang buy mo.

    cons ng option 2. titigas yung pag hila ng lock sa drivers side. requires drilling sa doors for new actuator, noisier mechanical sounds. yung sa kin di nila pinadaan sa doorr gromet yung wiring kaya naipit ng pinto, sabihin mo sa installer gusto mo no wires lalabas para malinis.

    yumyum, 1999 lang nirelease ang manual kaya medyo rare nga. but meron karin makikita sa mga buy and sell.

    nelany, hinihintay kalang ng CRV, hehe

    PB, 5K medyo mahal pala OEM, Lagi naman. Pero hassle yong none OEM.
    How about yun liquid sa inclinemeter(spell check) nag refill kana ng liquid? Thanks!

    larshell, imho invest on an oem. it may be very expensive but yung replacement minsan naiipit, though madali lang ayusin pag naipit. sa tigas kasi ng actuator, sa kakataas baba ng locks lalo na pag manually nilolock, nabebend niya yung metal rod from the door lock, going to the actuator. para maayos ibabalik mo lang sa porma yung rod. but ang hassle magbubukas ka pa ng sidings. mga once a year nangyayayari to.

    sa gen 2.5 ko wala pa leaks yung inclinometer. but sa gen 2 namin narepair ko na. I used johnsons baby oil, but first kailngan mahanap mo muna yung leak and seal it with silicone. check mo yung radio mo, kasi pag may leak mababasa baka masira.
