andrewbugs, thank you sa info, malaki matutulong nito sa aming mga pajero peeps.

ano daw ang bumigay according to your mechanic? this would prove useful to us para alam natin which part to check. based sa parts mo walang tensioner, yung chain guide kaya ang nasira? pag iisipin mo nga parang mas mauna bibigay yung guide kasi fixed siya. yung tensioner nag aadjust magisa pag may load.

bakit pala nasama yung cylinder head? may nabali bang valves na tumama sa cylinder head?

Wow bigla ko kinabahan sa timing chain natin..naputulan na kasi ako ng timing belt sa L300, abala na gastos pa...Pwede kaya pasilip sa casa yung chain just to be sure? magkano kaya aabutin?

Please help again. Habang nagda-drive kagabi ay bigla na lang nawala ang mga ilaw sa dashboard backlighting ng 2003 Fieldmaster ko. Pati park lights sa harap at likod ay nawala din. Pati fog lamps ay wala din. Buti at gumagana pa ang headlights. Nag-hazard na lang ako pansamantala. May naka-experience na ba nito? If ever, ano ang dapat kong tingnan. Will it be a fuse or a relay? Thank you in advance.

instech, nangyari na saakin dati yan, dont know kung same problem natin, theres a 10 amp or 15 yata yun. fusebox sa engine bay (check 3 pages back, siya yata yung burado sa gitna kung tama alala ko). . nasa pinaka gitna siya.

kung pagpalit mo pumutok parin, theres a short sa wiring mo. di naman kasi dapat maputukan ng fuse unless may nagshort dont replace with a higher amp fuse, kundi matutulad ka saakin, umusok ng malakas yung sa may handbrake part ko habang umaandar ako, then natunaw yung fuse holder ng konti sa engine bay. yun pala nung kinalas ko center console ko nasama sa pag screw ko yung wiring, ayun sunog tuloy. :shazam:

Anyone knows kung san pwede magpa-compression test? Dinala ko sa Central Diesel yung auto para ma-check up coz hard starting siya then pag tanggal ng oil cap may lumalabas na oil and ganun din sa dipstick. Sabi pa blow-by na daw pero to be sure pa compression test daw

freeloader,any decent auto repair shop will have a compression tester. sometimes yung lumalabas na oil sa oil cap eh baka sobra lang. check your exhaust kung mausok after you have done your calibration and if you are burning oil. if so then take the compression test. my 2 cents...
