nangyari saakin last week gumamit ako ng cheap diesel oil (caltex silver) for 1 day lang para pang flushing lang sana, kasi papachange oil ko kinabukasan using l caltex delo sports (semi synthetic). the next day nag hard starting ako nung pupunta na ako ng petron. but after my change oil ok na uli.
ngayon ko lang sinubukan ganitong style kasi dati yung cheap oil na pang flushing ko 10 minutes lang sa engine na naka idle tapon na, baka kako mas malinisan pag gamitin ko for a day. but parang nahirapan yung engine sa cheap oil. i could even feel na lumala yung vibration.Last edited by promdiboy; February 16th, 2008 at 10:25 PM.

Kamusta na mga Pajero Master! Matagal din ako hindi naka post.
May question lang ako. Paano ba mag palit ng front signal light?
Patulong nalang mga master!
Thanks

easy lang yan larshell,
open hood
unhook the black spring wire behind the signal lights, on the fender wall beside the air filter.
remove coolant reservoir, unhook black spring on fender wall
remove screw on top of signal light.
you can now remove the whole assembly
medyo mahal bili ko sa wurth orange bulb, 120 pesos each yata and hindi fit yung pasok, pero pag pilitin pumasok naman.

February 18th, 2008 02:33 PM #2054Pls help anyone. I'm very new to this forum and I'm not good at engines as well. My ride is a Paj FM 2001 intercooler turbo 2800. I have been hearing a screeching noise (as if a rubber being rub against a rubber or a metal place? doesnt sound like a metal against metal) whenever I drive through humps or rough road surfaces. The noise apparently is coming underneath the driver side portion (left). I had goodyear servitek work on it and they replaced the suspension arm bushings and checked other bushings including the shock absorber and engine support but after almost 8 hours of work, drive test and rework, the same noise is still there. I finally gave up with them and thought of trying to get some help from this group as I heard this is a very helpful forum of paj owners.
Anyone has experienced the same hard-to-find squeak and can help me pinpoint the other possible source or may please refer me to an pajero expert underchassis mechanic.
Thank you so much po in advance.

edapril2366, welcome to tsikot,
guess ko lang if its under the driver side. naiisip ko lang is transfer case support or its your driver side door. try mo idaan sa hump while the door is slightly open. baka yung hinges sira na. if your hesitant to do this, you can always use basahan and ipitin mo in between the door para di umalog. make sure medyo makapal basahan. or pag sa TC support. start your engine, gear shift in park. go under the driver side then shut down the engine. check mo kung umaalog transfer case and listen for unusual sounds. yan lang naiisip ko sa ngayon, wait tayo ng ibang peeps baka may idea pa sila.

February 19th, 2008 10:30 AM #2057Thank you PromdiBoy. I will try your suggestions. Baka di lang kabisado kasi ng Goodyear Servitek mehanics ang Paj. Will get back to you later. Again, maraming salamat po. I really appreciate this forum. In fact araw araw ko binabasa mga posts from the start pero di pa ko tapos. Its very informative. Cheers!
Also, saan ba may magaling na Paj underchassis mechanic para doon ko dalhin later. I'm from Cavite but I work in Manila. Salamat po uli PB.

hmmm, now that you mentioned it PB, di siya masyado shiny. Although matibay naman yung pagkaka-chrome niya. I'll take pics of the emblem sa week end tapos post ko dito
Gastos na naman:
Glow Plugs *Php1,800 x 4
Fuel Filter *Php1700
Fuel Filter i forgot hehe, mga 700 ata ORIG! Grabe bumaba na rin finally ang price nito!
Happy naman si Paje ko after the treatment. Last time i used her was saturday and after i came back from abroad kanina, ayun, one-click!
I discovered that my fuel filter is utterly dirty. may kalawang na nga e. baka blocked na siya.
Yung air filter naman, i just replaced my P100 isuzu air filter with the orig one! grabe, dati nasa P1300 ata yun e.

February 20th, 2008 05:46 PM #2060Hi Dysdamon,
Re Dexron III, for our pajero, we could use dexron II. However, we could also use Dexron III (depending on the brand). Just try to check the brand and see if it can be used for ATs using Dexron II. Most Dexron III in the market now can be used for ATs - using Dexron II. In fact, what im using now is Dexron III.
