Yup, it is clear at night.... Even when it's very dark, you'll think it's daytime, hehe.

Aren't you pissed about other people who doesn't care whether they cause dings on the car beside them when they open their doors? My Monty is just 4 months old but has already 3 dings on the driver side due to inconsiderate people who park beside me. Anybody knows where I can have these dings fixed? Initially planned to have the insurance take care of this but it's too small a thing for them, unless I make it bigger, hehe.

    2. External Processor - Alpine PXE-H650 to address the tuning needs for the system, I had to purchase an external processor. Bought this from Amazon for US$350. There are others that are available such as JL Cleansweep, Rockford Fostgate 360 locally they retail for 20K+++
    3. Front Speakers, I replaced mine with Focal Access 2-way seps retails for 10K
    4. Rear fills - Pioneer 2-way coaxials - 1.9K
    5. Amp - Powerbass ASA 600.4x -9.9K
    6. Wirings and interconnects - 5K
    7. Sub RE RE10" sub + 1 cu. ft. enclosure sub 4.5k + box 2.5k
    8. 1 pair 7" headrest monitors - 7.5k
    9. Door deadening STP brand 1.2k per sheet 1.5 sheets per door/6 sheets total 7.2k

This should total to about 63K. If you are not too picky about sound quality then you can forgo the sound processor
Where was the amp, sound processor and subs placed? I'm planning to have an audio setup too but I prefer the components hidden, especially the subs.`

Also allergic to those people bro, kaya when i choose a parking kelangan center both cars na katabi mo, or better when post or wall na ang katabi mo. Plus one more thing pala about our monty, sobra lambot ng body, try not to close the doors thru the body, sa frame ng windows dapat ang push. Regarding naman sa repair niyan, paintless denter lang, you will be amazed talaga when nagawa, hindi mo mapinpoint kung saan yung dent before. I can give you the no. Of the best paintless denter, dami ko kilala na denter even worked abroad as pro denter, pero eto na ang the best.

The amp is placed under the front passenger seat while the processor is placed under the driver seat while the controller is placed just under the head unit.

I initially had a small box made, but I am planning to have a fiber glass enclosure made para naka flush young sub sa sidings ng rear.

Tried the GTV last week. It seems to be making a whistling noise whenever I release the accelerator.

I changed all the speakers with A/D/S and also the seps ads, with lighting sab amps. Iam very satisfied with improvement on the quality of the sounds.

my sympathies. i know how you feel. yung monty ko nga, wala pang isang linggo ninakaw na ang isang headlamp washer. you take care of your property but there are others out there who just dont care

and i agree with you that its too small to claim from the insurance. baka sa participation fee palang talo na

Sorry for the noob question but this is the first time I heard of this door deadening.
Is the deadening material able to keep out road noise sir? can it be applied to the whole car to make it "sound proof"?

Haha, no worries, we don't eat people for posting questions

Sound deadening products are mainly used to disperse vibrations caused by our car audio. It's secondary function is to lessen the amount of road noise (since increase in mass means less sound). As for the parts, if you want to silence road noise, deadening the doors would yield the least effect. I believe the best effect would be from deadening the floor.

But wouldn't that entail taking out the whole interior of the car? I don't think I can stand the idea of ripping out a new cars interior. Any other ides on how to lessen road/engine noise? coming from the santa fe, I can really hear the difference in the montys NVH.

Yep, baklas yun mga chairs if it's the flooring :naughty2:

Wala masyadong choices on how to minimize NVH noise levels. If I can name just two of the most effective: (1) Deadening the floor and wheel wells and (2) noise-minimizing tires.

Yup if you really want to lessen road noise you can opt to install deadening materials and the only downside is that these sheets are heavy as these arw of asphalt or butane based. When i had my doors deadend they had to take out the sidings. To really lessen road noise the floors and ceiling can be deadened. To be honest visually you cant notice if the cqr is fully deadened since this will be co ered by your sidings and carpet. As long as trained the staff of your installer wala ka magihing problem

Deadening the doors would yield minimal effect in minimizing road noise. Talaga they're just to reflect back the vibrations caused by the midbass for better sound reproduction.

If deadening: Floor and wheel wells have the best impact on road noise. The roof can also be deadened to reduce wind noise.

All in all, if you deaden the whole car, it'll add around 100kg more so deaden carefully so not to affect fuel consumption drastically. The only people who really deaden their whole car are those who is in pursuit of better car audio.
