yeah, that "school of stradas" that you saw was a "spur of the moment" fun run to Sapang Bato... you can kulit LR777 and bigblock about it.

i will inform sir sonrider of the next mini eb- either manila or any coordinator of NL hosting one... as for Baguio- probably on early-mid May...

My 3.2 L A/T (2009) had a second bout with SCV, nag ilaw uli yung warning light even I use Shell (reg Diesel), The first one several months ago the SCV was replaced by casa with no charge, tomorrow I have an appointment with Mits Casa dahil nga nag ilaw na naman ang warning. The other night I tried to top off diesel, hoping that the light will be extinguish ,still light was on. Now that my warranty is over, I dont know how much will it cost.

A friend just had his strada diagnosed last tuesday, the SCV costs 8k plus 750 labor, but this is for a 2.5.

Hindi naman hard starting except when you turn on the engine while the glow plug light is still on. No smoke issues. Actually it started way before I use Seaoil BioXceed Diesel. I think it started last year. Napansin ko lang na kakaiba nung narinig ko yung engine noise nung kay Sir ljpangan at yung Monty ng kasama namin ni ljpangan sa MSCP. They even commented that my engine sounds like a 3.2 4M41, except that it is louder than my 3.2 Monty

Try replacing the engine oil...


Worked for me....although I was not complaining about the sound before when I was using the 5w40 Crdi Specific....But when I switched to a brand that has a higher API and ACEA rating the cold starting was improved and the sound when the engine is on idle has definitely decreased and has been smoothened out significantly....Actually I never thought it would sound better than what I've previously experienced with the old brand that Im using...

mga strada masters! may tutorial po ba kayo on how to remove the front bumper of our strada? balak ko po kasi magpalit ng hid for my foglamps.balak ko sana iDIY.thanks mga idol!

you dont need to remove the whole bumper bro.... actually if you read the manual andun yun. just pry out the foglamp shroud thats it.

need some info and advice guys,,... tnxx

Hey..... before my 1st choice was an isuzu dmax. firstly because isuzu has a reputation when it comes to diesel engines, 2nd it is because i find the dmax very manly.... but what turned me off was its price.... for me its expensive just like the crosswind. i mean there are 4 more other pick ups to choose from that can offer better options, new design both in and out, more so up to date. dmax kasi puro face lift. No offense sa mga naka dmax. it feels like isuzu is just riding on the cult followers of their unit. when you get inside the dmax you will notice the same old interior. the just add a new gadget or a new sound entertainment etc. next is the engine.... likewise its a 3.0 L but compared to the strada and navara that has only 2.5L but you can see by the specs that the later two has more grunt.

though tried and tested na ang dmax. its just that i find it expensive para sa offering nila. para ako bumili ng secand hand na brand new.

one of the reason why i bought a strada? 1st its bang for the buck. 2nd it looks awesome, 3rd comfy ride, 4th good 2nd row seats, 5th new engine.

with regards naman sa mga problem almost all of your choices naman has some glitches din naman eh. i guess di mawawala ito. maslas nalang minsan kung mangyari saiyo.

at the end of the day just make a checklist kung para saan mo ba gagamitin yung pick up, check all of the traits you are looking for. kung ano ang madaming check marks i guess yun ang bilin mo.

Hello Sir. I believe you can buy a panel for a 2din unit para di po nakausli sa itaas. Ang alam ko po you can get it sa banawe. If you want, you can try Maspro, accredited din po sila ng Montero Club and the last time I spoke with the owner, meron sila doon. Kasya po 2 din doon sa upper slot if you have a GLX unit. Di lang po ako sure sa GLS units. Hope this helps.

Just wanna get some feedback here...Meron na ba nakapagpalagay ng aftermarket 2Din stereo/MID on their Stradas? What did you install and where?

My stock Kenwood HU is acting strange and the display is not showing most of the time. Its probably time to upgrade the Audio system. Warranty is over on mine now.
