Roxas: Serendra blast so far shows no indication it was caused by a bomb

Interior Secretary Mar Roxas on Saturday morning said three teams of bomb-sniffing dogs had so far discovered nothing to suggest that the explosion that rocked Serendra on Friday evening was caused was a bomb. No trigger mechanism has also been turned up by investigators.

Syet! I broke the two rules of fight club.

    nakita ko sa twitter:

ang divisoria, mahigit tatlong ara nasunog, hnd man lng dumalaw si PNoy at Mar Roxas.
    haha

    ---

    from twitter uli:

Curious. Why is Roxas all over the Serendra blast? You'd think DILG takes a back seat on this and let the cops do the investigating
Baka may major campaign donor na taga Serendra kaya nagpapakitang gilas ;)

Could also be the other way around, right?

    ----

Comparing the responses in Divisoria and Serendra? Seriously?

This is an explosion. Of the most unlikely of places. It could've been a terrorist plot (buti naman mukhang hindi) that could've concerned national security.

Now, the Divisoria incident is a fire. More of a localized thing, rather than anything remotely close to a national incident.

Besides, the fire was still raging on after a day or two.

People should really learn to take their heads out of their asses.

Ang tanong dapat nasaan yun mayor? She should be at the scene within minutes after the explosion.

Kahit isang cayetano, walang mabilis dumating, from mayor, congressman and 2 senators. Naunahan pa ng presidente pumunta yun mayor

E kasi nga si Pnoy ang presidente. If iba ang presidente hindi nila i-cocompare yan.

If this happened in another country, sobrang kahiyahiya na at todo apologize na yung mayor and other local officials of the area.

Your the head of the DILG to
which the PNP is under your stupid nose, yet after 12 hours of investigative work, you still have no ****ing idea.
In short, Mar & Abnoy was there last night only to be another USI as their presence did not produce any result.
O baka naman gumigimik kayong 2 sa BGC during the time of explosion kaya naki-usi na rin kayo.

Mr DILG secretary, just ask Korina at baka alam nya...
In fairness to Roxas, (or any cabinet secretary for that matter), 12 hours isn't enough to get a clear idea of what happened. I'd rather not say anything conclusive until more details have been gathered. The press conference, IMHO, was meant to assuage the public kasi some pundits may think it was a terrorist attack, which would place the country in a bad light.

Personally, I think napakiusapan sina Roxas and Pnoy ng mga Ayala to personally handle the incident because it will hurt their business and reputation. Good thing it happened on a Friday night. Try to check the shares of Ayala-linked companies (e.g. Ayala Land), it may drop substantially, hehehe. People sti ll remember the Glorietta incident.

Di naman kay Casanova yun unit? Tapos shortly before the explosion may SM sekyu at delivery van na nakitang umaalis sa Serendra.

No... that is just a false impression of a single incident. Prefab structures like condos and office buildings are as safe or even safer than older more traditional style construction with use of "buhos" and hollow blocks.

It is like saying the old 60s or 70s era cars are safer than current model cars simple because they exhibit less external damage from initial visual inspection.
