Ayala has enough resources it can muster to contain this latest disaster (thereby compromising their business and reputation)..
let's do some basic fire safety refresher by understanding what are the main elements that results in producing fire..the word to remember is 'triangle'..it's not about shape, nor some traffic signal symbols neither does it relates to Ayala Triangle..

Ang mga question ko dito sa incident na ito on property management perspective are:
1. why is is the leak detector of the lpg system did not activate, IMHO it should have 2, one in the pipe chase and one near the LPG outlet of the unit.
2. considering the scale of the blast, why is it the smoke detector did not detect any changes in the air inside the unit.
- ung iba wag pilosopo na smoke detector nga eh.
- most of the detectors even during old ages can detect changes in the composition of air mixture which will trigger the alarm. which should have also avoided this catastrophic event.
- IMHO - something is definitely wrong in the administration of the building.
3. To build up that amount of LPG inside the unit it is a standar operating procedure that guards should conduct roving inspection, again, why it was not detected by roving guard.
Related to the triangle above, i believe the emergency cut-off valve of the LPG system triggers that is why there is no fire. However, the amount of the LPG is adequate enough to make that blast.
By the way, i am not from Ayala or any of its subsidiary but based on the pictures of the apartment, i think the prefab walls were constructed properly. and IMHO again this can be prevented by the maintenance/property management people.
Eerie parallels between Serendra explosion, 2007 Glorietta blast | News | GMA News Online
Authorities are investigating eerie similarities between the blast at Two Serendra in Taguig last Friday and the 2007 explosion in Glorietta Mall that killed 11. Both are Ayala properties that were initially thought to be targets of bomb attacks.
A government fact-finding panel concluded in 2011 that the 2007 tragedy was caused by a methane gas leak, but Ayala insisted for years that it was a bomb, citing traces of the chemical compound RDX, a bomb ingredient. After dogs failed to sniff bomb traces in Serendra last weekend, probers are once again exploring the possibility of a gas leak.
Diba meron din sumabog diyan early this year or was it last year...? Sa may harap ng Adidas.

Blast hits Bonifacio Global City | Inquirer News
MANILA, Philippines – Fear gripped the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig Wednesday after an explosion rocked the highly urbanized district, radio reports said.
No one was reported injured in the blast that occurred outside the Parkade 2 building at the corner of 7th Avenue and 30th Street.
The cause of the explosion was unclear.
But reports said people in the area told authorities that a strong stench of liquefied petroleum gas was in the air when the explosion happened.
Witnesses also said that manhole covers flung up with columns of fire, indicating that the blast occurred underground.
Roxas will be left with an empty findings here as he keeps talking about the explosion day in & day out.
Konting araw na lang at kahiya-hiya itong si Roxas dahil walang makita mga bata nya at yung pag papel nya
sa eksena will boomarang from pogi point to napaso points.![]()
If they say it's a bomb from Terrorist: Ayala survives, the RP Economy gets hurt.
If they say its from gas leak/build up, Ayala gets hurt, the RP economy survives.
Choose your poison pill.![]()
this case is a clear example of the power of oligarchs
they own the freaking government
lagyan ko lang sir ng konting twist istorya.
If they say it's a bomb from Terrorist: Ayala survives, the RP Economy gets hurt. - at least Ayala would not need to pay for the damages, loss income, relocation cost, and etc of the affected tenants.
If they say its from gas leak/build up, Ayala gets hurt, the RP economy survives. - the ayala can claim from their insurance, but they will surely pay all the affected renters in their malls out of their own pocket. hahahahah.
The contractors and administration should be made to answer for the lapses that have led to this explosion... just as with the other explosions.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
Kawawa na naman subcon ni A... nyan. last time sa G2 ang nadale subcon na puro technician lang iyun and sorry to say most are "low paid engineers".
dapat diretso sa mother compnay ang dilemna dahil sila din naman nagbibigay ng direction sa AP** na nagmamanage ng condo na iyan.
Methane gas explosion malamang na naman ito. walang signs of a grenade explosion..... But, paano nag trigger? ung mga LPG centralized meron yan safety device, a valve would immediately shut it off once a leak is detected.
Sir, ilan psi ba bago mag trigger yan? hindi ba konting gas leak lang, mag trigger na ung valve to close it? or else walang use itong safety device na nilalagyan. prarang ganyan yan eh:
