Want good efficient flushing? Not exactly plane toilet strong but 2 types come close...There's the PressureAssisted& there's the Kohler ClassFive. I prefer this for its simplicity.

The soil/sanitary pipes? They'll be fine when done to the proper standards.
Kinda traumatized by a failed early(recalled) Sloan Pressure Assisted tank system model way back. Upon failure, the sealed pressure chamber popped, threw the ceramic tank cover up the ceiling & fell back to the floor, broke in 2pcs. A blessing no one was sitting. Whew![emoji120] Sloan did recall all & sent new pressure tanks to fit.
The Kohler ClassFive is safer.[emoji4]

I have 2 bathroom leaks now. Hassle. Have to remove some tiles to find the leak.....

A suggestion for new builds....lay your supply lines along the exterior of your bath walls(the untiled side). This eliminates your trouble if leaks pop. You'll just have to chip thru plaster & do paint touch up post-repair....Plus, this method lessens the risk of accidental tile/fixture/enclosure-install drill punctures...most of which you'll find out late upon break-in.
Refrain from the temptation of pretty embedded fixtures. Always go exposed shower & faucet valves. Nothing lasts forever. Keep spare angle valves & braided hoses along w/ water closet parts & bidet sprays. Install the bath heater outside for easier service accessibility & mess cleaning. Just my humble 2cents, sir.

May renovation 9yrs ago, pero hindi ginalaw mga sanitary pipes, but replaced all the GI water pipes to Unitec pipes (yung plastic with aluminum).

Another tip too is to keep stock of tiles for incidents like this. Some tiles get phased out or would come in different batches so sometimes iba yung kukay. Otherwise, you’ll be forced to use different tiles, or if you’re OC, you might have to change all your tiles completely para same sila.
Have not had this nature of failure even on pressurized flush systems. The pressure is built w/in the tank to create more push on each flush....not on the pipes, they are ventilated. Sanitary lines must have good suspension anchors & reliable joints that should withstand vibrations, seismic/traffic/usage or whatever. We commonly see glue & sealants used, but for extreme or OCD applications, ųPVC joint welds are a plus.Good choice on retiring GI supply pipes.[emoji106] PPR has become the more versatile/universal/preferred replacement.

Fusion welds are fine & reliable. Thing w/ brands like Rehau & Untitec, their fittings won't likely be compatible w/ other brands of similar system. Should availability be a problem, modding will be the resort. The known PPR brands usually abide by euro-regulations/standards & could be cross-matched. They are the new GI.

Anyone tried laminated flooring? Upon searching, ang cons na nabasa ko is bawal mabasa dahil magiging "weak" yung material. Also, may specified cleaner ba to clean laminated flooring since hindi pwede i-mop?
TIA!
