I have a friend who wanted to take Bachelor of Music in UST and they forced him to change his application.

Its part of their contract that they have to take a STEM course whether they avail of a scholarship elsewhere or not.

You just have to “start” college with a STEM course. If you shift out wala na sila pake.

And medyo maluwag sila sa allowed courses. I graduated Management Engineering which isn’t a STEM course but allowed talaga siya sa Pisay list kasi math-heavy. But I have Pisay batchmates who got kicked out of ME and graduated Management lang, but hindi naman sila hinabol ng Pisay.

Same with UP. I have friends na nagshift from Engg to BAA/BA.
