Kaya hindi na talaga ako naniniwala sa school ngayon, kung pera lang ang measure of success, there's so much to make on the internet. Dapat makapal lang talaga mukha lol. Kawawa na naman mga middle class who went to top schools kasi magwo work ng normal jobs and it would take years to achieve a high salary e yung pera sa internet they earn hundreds of thousands with little effort (kapal lang ng mukha)

hindi mag aaply sa trabaho mga yan

older generations believe it's normal to go to work 5 days a week for 40 years doing something they don't enjoy to make someone else rich

    i don't see gen z doing that

Definitely not, that's the LAST in my book that's why I initially refused a promotion at work because I am so happy with my boss and my job that I would rather have a lower rank and salary than move to a higher position

But I know for most money is the number one measure of success.

The Gen Z's ability to make money from the internet is merely based on a handful of people, and these Gen Z tend to be the noisier ones. They are flaunting their ability to make money out from the internet, leading many others to join. Very, very few of them will be able to sustain a living out of that.

School will still matter, but there will always be people who prove they can be successful without school.

hindi lang naman sa youtube eh

many young people are doing freelance work -- working only a few hours a day but making enough that they don't need to look for a real job

pansin ko lang mas gusto nila ang ganun kesa ung may amo

kaya i don't see genZ "going" to work in the traditional sense

School matters kung ang career path mo is full blown corporate.

shadow mukha ka palang pera. Just kidding. Hahaha! [emoji111] [emoji111] [emoji111] For example, I don't find Pacquiao successful, he might have all the money in the world but he gets little to no respect by the intellectual elite and old money. Kaya tuloy silang mag asawa always trying to prove themselves. Saka parang ang sakit na ang yaman yaman mo pero minamaliit utak ko.

Mas successful kay Pacquiao si Al Panlilio (though not sure who has more money betweeen the two of them) Ang guapo talaga niya!

Hindi lang naman career ang measure of success, for me it's holistic dapat, more on inner happiness

Be a corporate slave for 25-30 years then retire with some millions to stay at home. Watch over the grand kids and get senior citizen discounts at establishments.

OMFG! Do I want to do that? WTF!

If you ask me if I want those millions from Pacman, of course I do but I don’t have the face to accept punches like he does.

I guess I will make more a name for myself if I start a revolution or something that’s etched in history. Maybe something like what Johnny Enrile achieved - now that’s an achievement well beyond expectations. Even in his dying age, people make memes of himself and he just enjoys it.

Hindi naman kailangan mataas sweldo, basta you are earning enough to survive. In my last job, I was very happy with it, I may not have been earning a lot but I had the BEST boss, colleagues and I loved what I was doing. Wala ako stress because I can come in any time I like, I could work any time I like, my boss supports everything I do and gives whatever I ask basta kaya niya. I felt valued and well loved by people that matter to me at work. It was so PERFECT. Yun nga lang, happiness is fleeting

Kaya ex kuya ko na pera at title ang measure of success parati ako pinapagalitan na lumipat sa local kasi for sure daw mataas ang magiging increase ng salary ko (totoo naman na pinaka malaki increase if you move companies) pero di niya maintindihan na hindi ko priority ang sweldo. Yun nga lang, by society's standards failure siguro ako kasi wala ako naipundar at my age, but I don't really care basta masaya ako working all those years for my boss

The world revolves differently for those with noone to turn to or if their family looks up to them for support.

Madali sabihin para sa iba na oks lang kahit maliit kita kasi libre naman sila nakatira sa bahay ng parents nila, no concern for rent or utilities, tapos may car pa na bili ni daddy. They just literally have their money for themselves.

Kung yung kinikita mo, kukunin mo rent/amortisation, utilities, Insurance, grocery, car expense, school tuition ng anak mo, at tutulong ka pa sa kapamilya mo, sigurado you will find a job that makes you meet all those demands plus you have to save for your future.

Yes. Iba yun hinde mo alam kung saan kukunin pang bayad sa mga bayarin. Kahit anong sipag gawin mo hinde talaga kasya yun kinikita and that's a lot of stress.

Kasi hindi naman ako maluho at wala ako material goals, money was never a motivation for me, kaya I could live with my salary kasi simple lang lifestyle ko. My family does not support me financially naman

Ewan ko pero nawasak ang belief ko na mahirap umahon sa kahirapan (which is good) Ang susi dyan mag OFW or make money from the internet or even go to an unknown school at mag BPO, or mag asawa ng may kaya LOL! May napanood ako sa youtube sa barong barong lang talaga sila nakatira, yung parents nga niya sa squatters pa rin nakatira, pero ngayon bumili ng bahay 600 sq m ata. Ang mahirap yung mag move up from middle class to rich
