    there is always someone with higher grades than you.
    there is always someone with higher upcat score than yours.
    many times, that someone with higher HS grades did not get the higher upcat score, and vice versa. hence the seeming ill-logic at times, of the accepteds' list.
    i still remember, i was ashamed with myself, when i got only 99 in the college entrance test, when most of my classmates got 99+.
    the rumored top-est of the top in upcat that year, a classmate, wasn't even in the top 10 in our HS class. and our valedictorian and salutatorian, weren't in the top upcat-ers, either.
