DIY Black Soft Artificial Leather Car Steering Wheel Cover For Mazda CX-5 CX5 Atenza 214 New Mazda 3 CX-3 216 Scion iA 216

Leather from my steering wheel already peeling off. Was planning to have it done in seatmate for P2k, but found this in Lazada. Ikaw lang nga magtatahi, but very relaxing to do haha. Not bad for P700!

Travs, thanks for that shopee link. I'll get the Do It spray.
is it at the rear stabilizer link? mine also have rust in that area.. i just remove the link, brushed the area and sprayed some epoxy primer then gloss black paint.

those are really prone to develop rust but will not call for an underchassis rust proofing

They also included a thin double sided tape that you put inside so it doesn’t twist. But just had it for a few days, so far ok naman.

Here it is. You can get in touch with him via sms or fb messenger. All mats are sourced from Hippo Industries PH.

    Ventura Car Care and Accessories

I got mine last Monday. Perfect fit except the latch at the driver mat doesn't seem to snap tightly. But seems ok, I don't feel the mat is moving around when stepping on it.

I'll post the pics this weekend.

I wish there's a "thank you" button or something similar so as to acknowledge the post.

Since there's none, let me say thanks!

I'm beginning to rethink whether to install a DIY heel pad or not. Having a heel pad on top of the nice hippo mat would look really awkward. But yeah, that DIY heel mat is still an option Travs. There's still some cognitive dissonance running inside my head though [emoji2957]

You're welcome Archerfish! Hope the seller still has some stock for the mazda6. There's limited hippo mat supply for the mazda. It's much easier to buy one for the 1st gen CRV RD1 (which will be my next purchase).

At Slack chat I like all sorts of emoticons/reactions to go for. I'm thinking whether there's a local car enthusiast Slack group.

DIY heelpads that actually work as instructed, are easy. i used to cut a part of my old, worn mat, to make one and just glue it in place.
my brother was more obsessive. he had the local sapatero sew it in place (fabric-type pads).
but how to make them look really nice...
    la lang.

Ito gamit ko 1 plank ng rubberized vinyl "wood" flooring. Puwede tingi 1pc bumili sa Wilcon. Tapos puro double sided foam tape. Cut to size. Kapit naman sa Shark floorliner.

ok na sa ating regular drivers yan.
aficionadoes, however, will probably want something that looks more... artistic.

Have you been using the car regularly? If not, check for pest infestation & damage.
