Kickdown switch
Kickdown is a downshift in an automatic transmission triggered when the driver pushes the accelerator to the floor.
Automatic transmissions kick down to a lower gear to make use of the greater power delivered at the engine’s higher rpm; this typically occurs when the driver attempts to accelerate from a constant speed, as if to pass.
Burning rubber smell or rotten egg smell is caused by high amount of sulfur in the gasoline used in your vehicle.

And I believe at a certain rpm*it will also disengage the some electrical loads to transfer all the generated engine power to the tires.

My friend told me however you can take it with a grain of salt. [emoji16] I will do some research on it. I think it's the air-con compressor that shuts off.

hnd ba mavovoid yojin3 ko pag nagpainstall ako ng plugnplay led headlights?
Thanks for the clarification. I get the general idea. Sorry for being anal but what is that is probably disengaging the a/c clutch has the effect of lessening the parasitic mechanical drag on the engine rather than conserving electricity to achieve freeing up a little more HP to the wheels.

No offense taken. It's a grain of salt. [emoji12] Something new to learn everyday and correct, it would hurt the compressor and clutch if it engages at high RPM.
I guess it works both ways.
I guess it's time for the electrically driven compressors or the compressors that have variable pressure output.
