maybe rats gnawed some important electrical connections.. these past few weeks of rain can drive them to look for cozy and warm shelter.. which the engine bay is a perfect candidate..
Thanks for your replies sirs, borrowed my uncles scanner it seems that it has faulty wheel sensors. And a brake pedal switch. If so meron ba dito nagpalit na agad ng piyesa na to. My odo reading is 62Tkm. Checked the sensors it mukhang intact naman siya no putol or kagat thanks

Anyone here still following the manufacturer's recommended oil change interval of every 6 months or 10,000km whichever comes first?
Every since my 3 year free pms expired last year, I intend to just stick with the 10,000km oil change interval. I don't see the real need to follow the frequent 6 month interval especially this pandemic season where I don't get to use the car often.
This Jalopnik article sums up my take on this frequent oil change interval myth
"Yet this wasteful cycle continues largely because the automotive service industry, while fully aware of the technological advances, continues to preach the 3,000-mile gospel as a way to keep the service bays busy."
What’s The Worst Car Myth?
Since I'm not using my dear M3 a lot, I will do the oil change with the 10T km or 1 year interval whichever comes first, at least during this pandemic season.
But yes it's true that a good regular oil change is good for keeping those carbon deposits from building up with DI engines

mazda pips... any links for the mazda connect firmware upgrade? planning to buy the kit but cannot find the firmware upgrade files.
i want to upgrade first.. before buying the kits..
appreciate your help
What's your current version? If you have FW older than v31 then you have to upgrade to v31 before installing v70.
Are you going to DIY the kit install? If you're having a shop install it then most of the time they already have the FW and the upgrade is part of the installation.
Sadly the FW source server I got my installers from got shut down so the links I have are useless.

its older than v31.. checking online for the links to no avail.. all are not available or removed..
planning to DIY the install. i tried removing the center console to hide some cables.. its easy pala!.. that's why i plan to install the kit.. but i need the firmware updates prior installing the kit otherwise daw it will not work..
I'll check my archives if I still have v31. I only have v70 on my active drive.
And yes FW update muna before installing the kit. I was running for months on v70 while waiting for supplies to arrive.
It says for North America only but I'm posting it here for you to see.
