I see... do you think Sir the 28k being quoted is reasonable? Including the 31k ODO?

I think its too early. Parts, no comment. Labor, stratospheric.

    Strainer Oil?????

Silicone Beta Grey- RTV? probably for the premature tranny fluid change?

    Belt V- how many belts????

Tensioner Belt V- Have main drive belt checked

Belt V (another one)- AC is a StretchFit belt, have condition checked.

Both my belts are still in great shape ...if it's any indication.

    Fluid- which?

22k for the parts and 6k for the installation on these activities:

Tensioner Bearing- the tensioner damper & idler pulley are sn assembly. If not leaking, it's still good.

Replace Belt Assembly- 3rd belt??? We only have 2.

ATF Filter and Fluid- way too early

    Anyway, which dealership is this?

True, if the budget permits, why not?......But it's not CVT, and 31k kms is a bit too early to change that 'lifetime' transmission fluid.[emoji4]

Not sure if there's anyone who really believes in all that 'lifetime' stuff. Look at the number of marriages that have failed.[emoji13]

I'm wondering why the mazda casa would recommend the ATF change too early. Our 1st gen CRV's ATF was replaced after travelling for 100,000km. The mechanic even told us that the ATF looks pretty good. Our CRV is still running in good condition despite its old age (150,000+km 20 years old). It can still outrun the latest CRV [emoji13]

Maybe the old models we're built strong, methinks that manufacturers are cutting parts life too close nowadays, hence I myself prefer to do ATF change earlier than scheduled

Quality decline is pre-meditated. Durability isn't in the interest of manufacturers.[emoji37]

Dealerships can bring it down to about half that for the necessary oil change & brake check....That's what I always avail of.

Its the usual 60k (3 yrs) PMS sir. they have a checklist of that in their casa as well on which parts need to be cleaned/inspected/tighten/replace.
