Thanks! Though I won't do it on my own anytime soon, it's good to atleast be familiar with it when the time comes.[emoji4]

They'll get the same proven Skyactiv engines. AWD offerings? Highly unlikely. The changes raise the Premium feel notches higher. They've opted to 'downgrade' the rear from multi-link to torsion beam to reduce noise, weight & cost, & to increase space out back. Dave Coleman, Mazda's development engineer, explains why the beam is really an upgrade here:

Buy cheaper the current proven BN? Or wait for when & who knows how much the new BP?
The 'old' gen3 is sorted, figured & aging very gracefully. The great thing about grabbing a new generation model is the novelty of new...BUT, there's a minor thing you should prepare for when getting one early....the risk of having unseen issues pop that manufacturers usually sort thru TSBs & mid cycle refreshes.
Hope this helps you decide....Grats & welcoM3 to the Mown3rship!!![emoji4]

Very well said. Though the 2014 Mazda 3's didn't really have any major issues. If i were to get the next gen Mazda3 and I'm not in a hurry, I'll get the facelifted/refreshed one.

Drive reviews are coming in....And, SURPRISE!!!!....The beam hasn't been received negatively...
From: 219 Mazda 3 First Drive Review: Advancing the Compact-Car Art | Automobile Magazine

"A significant change with this new chassis is deletion of the multilink independent rear suspension in favor of a patent-pending torsion-bar arrangement. Whether this has to do with cost, packaging, or Mazda’s screed about the car as an extension of the driver’s body and soul is unclear. Anyway, we have no complaints about handling, and the predictive and stability-enhancing G-Vectoring Control Plus is standard even on base models. The car turns in smartly on the stiff chassis and is imperturbable. The 18-inch, low-profile Toyo Proxes all-season tires were acceptable in terms of grip, and ride quality exceeds expectations. Meanwhile, the brake pedal is firm and progressive in the Porsche fashion, and it’s easy to bring the sedan to a stop without bobbling your passenger’s head."

VGate OBD2 from Lazada (link above) and Torque Pro.

So far di pa lumalagpas ng 89C ang engine and tranny temp in traffic. Malamig kasi siguro panahon.

    Di sya user-friendly.

Nakailang pindot din ako para maging successful ang bluetooth pairing pero once I got that right wala nang issue every time I use it.

Malulula ka sa dami ng options and sensors na pwede i-display. Took me a while to figure out saan ang voltage reading. Napagana ko na ang trip log pero location lang pala tinitingnan nya. Di ko pa alam kung may logger sya ng engine data para macompare ko ang temps vs traffic. I'll figure it out soon.

    Hi All,

Planning to upgrade the headlights of my 2014 Mazda 3 1.5L and is torn between two routes:

    1. Full headlight assembly swap (aftermarket that looks like the OEM 2.0L variant with DRL)
    - This is my preference in terms of looks but not very much improvement daw in terms of performance at twice the price
    2. HID retrofit
    - Half the price of option 1 and ok ang performance daw. I'm just worried about opening up the headlight and going back for backjobs for the moisture. Looking at either Redline or GaryQ Stage 2.

Any suggestions? Specially for those who have already took the plunge with either route. Thanks!

If papalitan mo ung headlight assembly ng china aftermarket, baka mga 2-3years lng tumagal at mag crack na ung headlight sa loob. Pero tsambahan padin yun.

I would also suggest, if paparetrofit ka, avoid installing angel eyes or demon eyes or kahit anong eyes, kasi pag pumalya yan, bubksan nanaman headlight.
