Hello Guys, planning to buy Mazda3 Maxx 1.6L. I would like to ask if you have some feedbacks good and bad about this variant?

It is fuel efficient?
Are there any known issues with this variant? Engine perhaps since its not on Skyactive?

Common gripe is its not as fuel efficient as its contemporaries. And the 4-speed AT doesn't help. Other than that its still a good engine,

Most (if not all) modern cars in this class are FWD so I don't see why this should concern you.

IStop was the main reason I opted for the 1.5....followed by moolah shortage.

I think at the end of the day if you like the looks but not too big on the tech then just stick to the 1.5. I stop is technologically advanced and one of the reasons why Mazda apart form its engine is successful. really the only Japanese car aside from the lexus brand that try to rival the european cars..

Overall, even w/o the iStop, the Skyactiv engineering on the engine, tranny & chassis are an awesome tech breakthrough & package. Hi comp NA running on regular fuel was unheard of...not in the hobo non-performance passenger car segment.
Start-Stop systems are nice, but with our traffic conditions....one might not reap their intended purpose & benefits.

Guys may sarili b kayong ginagamit na na tire inflator and gauge? Saan ok bumili and ano recommended nio? Ano po recommended psi for m3 1.5v stock tires. Gaano ba katagal usually bago maginflate uli ng tires?

Open mo ung door sa driver side. Andun yung sticker nakalagay yung recommended psi depende sa load ng auto mo. Ako usually once a month kasi lagi ko naman ginagamit kaya matagal bumaba.

I have a week old Mazda3 Maxx 1.6L. I switched from Peugeot 301 to Mazda3 Maxx. Ang 301 ko before very fuel friendly. Sa Mazda3 ko ngayun parang naninibago ako. Lakas ang fuel consumption nya. For those who own Mazda3Maxx anu po yung FC nyo sa city driving and highway?

The MZR engine wasn't really known for being frugal on the gas.
