Best bang for buck option? OrangeVirusTuning, the Mazda tuner known the world over, is now serving Ph Mown3rs. Safe Custom Tunes. No Splices. No Chips. Reviews have been nothing short of positive. Let's await dyno figures from OVTph. For those seeking a bit more power, more torque, better efficiency & balance, call them for a sched.
Not to mention the torque steer on a FWD car.

True. Though adding rake, PU bushes, slight engine mount tilt tweak & other cheats will help, it's an annoying trait of performance modded FWDs.

Just an update on this. I was planning on having mine scheduled this week (firmware update only), because when I inquired about updating the firmware/SDCard etc it was on a Fri afternoon and didn't place a schedule with their service dept because I didn't know what day I would be free this week. When I called again yesterday, Mazda Alabang now says that there is no need to update the firmware and they just install the SD Card, and their price is P3000 + P500 labor (stupid). I decided to call the other dealerships around the metro (Greenhills, North Edsa, Pasig & Quezon Ave) and they all confirmed that there is no need to update the firmware and the price is P3000 as originally reported in ************

Shame on Mazda Alabang for adding an additional $500 to what should be free in the 1st place (and for inserting a measly sdcard) and for the wrong info (updating firmware). Maybe it's no big deal pero ang sarap sana i-raise ang issue with Berjaya if it were quick (via phone call as I don't have a FB acct).

When I got my unit last sat, they (Mazda Greenhills) said that they have no advise yet for the update for the infotainment.

Just to add since there isn't a 2017 Mazda 3 thread yet, here's a new color, Machine Gray Metallic, as mentioned in ************
It also mentions that production for the ASEAN market will start in Sept...

217 Mazda3 in Machine Gray Metallic: Not Your Typical 5 Shades of Gray | ************ - Philippine Car News, Car Reviews, Car Features, Car Buyer's Guide and Car Prices.

...When quizzed about when Philippine units start production, they mentioned that ASEAN market production starts in September.

Though the staff doesn’t know for sure if they’ll be manufacturing left- or right-hand drive vehicles for ASEAN first (they mentioned right-hand drive with a stronger affirmative), with Mazda’s flexible Monotsukuri production process, they can easily build both simultaneously. If this information is accurate, the Philippines may very well see the 2017 Mazda3 as early as end of the year.

Yup it was only last week when I asked about the sd card, the service agent told me the procedure was they would update the firmware of the infotainment, then install the navi/sdcard. So I thought, wow finally mauupdate na firmware here like in other countries. Di naman pala.

Yeah I've read that before. Just want an update that would fix my usb problem. It seems on most long trips, the usb hangs and i have to switch to the radio. The usb will only work after turning off the car for like 15 mins or longer. I dont know if the updates fix that. The usb is new and isn't overloaded with songs too. So i don't get why it happens.

Check OVTph out....Cool fellow Mown3rs behind....
Was able to ride, albeit briefly, a 2.0 that was OVT tuned (initial)

Impressed to say the least - torque was great Can't wait to see the figures on the final tune.

-DIYable. Precision bolt-on kit. Installs in minutes w/o need of jacking nor lifting. .
-Visible dual 4" tips & exhaust body
    -No weight penalty
-No drone, no vibrations, only deep, sweet & low exhaust note.

Weird as I talked to someone I know in Berjaya and he called Mazda GH , and they said the SD card and map was available .

Anyway , have the prototype headers OVT San Diego sent (design and RP manufactured) to OVT Phil. (My unit is the test car), so far from what I noticed is more aggressive acceleration, and response is faster. But of course this is all perceived or personal feeling only , will dyno soon to see the numbers , if results are favorable then design will be mass produced, and if the numbers aren't right , then some design tweeks are needed. Will update ASAP. L
