mazda just issued a recall on certain models including ours.
Just got home from Mazda's thanksgiving party at Whitespace.
They also showcased their new models - Cx3, Mazda 2 & Mazda 3.
Here are some pics of the newfacelifted Mazda 3. (Pics not mine, but courtesy of a fb member).
The calipers are also painted red (sorry don't have pic of it), but not sure if it's just for the speed variant.
Mukhang masaya yung event. Would this be the 3 that they would be bringing here? I see they still didn't include the middle air vent controls but they do have the cruise control on the right controls of the steering wheel. I could be wrong but I think in some facelifted variants of the 3 in other countries they still had the hand brake lever? Anyway thanks for sharing bro!
Hello,
Im not sure where to post this question, sorry nalang in advance. We bought a 2014/16 Mazda 3 Skyactiv V last July. Out of all the different models from all the different dealers we test drove, sya yung pinaka nagustuhan namin. The question is, normal lang ba yung creaking sound pag slowly ni-release yung break? I don't know how to best describe the sound, pero yung tunog nya is parang pag magaan yung tapak mo sa clutch then nag-kambyo ka agad sa manual. Minsan mahina, minsan malakas. Madalas ko syang marinig tuwing umaga at pag naka-incline. Minsan din, kahit malayo na yung tinakbo, naririnig ko parin sya. Sobrang noob namin sa mga oto, so na overlook namin yung mga ganitong bagay. Any ideas?
I'm quite bothered by posts of the 2016 1.5V owners, they're headlights are having moist, even if they just went for a car wash. I've seen already 4 incidents. Any 2015 or prior 1.5V owners here whose headlights are having moist?
I've always been mindful & cautious in washing cars after seeing condensation thru the light assembly vents of our old Toyota Rav. Never direct the pressure washer onto them. They are designed to just keep rain off.... not totally watertight. None of mine, including my hobo 3, has had this problem since. I even use a different chamois for the lenses to avoid fine scratches & yellowing. Leaking wash water into the lamps is 1 thing, natural condensation is another...it's normal, common, & not Mazda-specific.
This is from an official lamp condensation TSB:
Some may complain of condensation/fog inside the front or rear combination lights. Clear lenses make the symptom to be more noticeable, however, it does not affect the performance of the light. This condensation/fog is a natural phenomenon(Not Mazda-specific) that occurs when there is a fairly large temperature & humidity difference between the inside and the outside of the light housing. It is normal for very small water drops to appear in certain locations on the light units where the air is stagnant(condensation) making the lens look whitish foggy. This happens mostly in the corners and narrow spaces, and will typically clear during warmer ambient temperatures, or when the lights have been on for some time.
This is considered normal, and is NOT covered under warranty as replacing the light unit will not correct this symptom.
It would help to advise our fellow Mown3r brethren on washing tips & remind on this natural condensation phenomenon. For extreme cases, I would suggest to have the dealership assess.
