What might be the problem if steering wheel does not immediately "self-centers" after cornering or turning?

Have you maintained your rake from stock or is your stance now a bit of reverse rake? This is a 1st for the HTechs. There hasn't been any noted complaint similar to yours. The drop is even conservative.
Off the factory, our caster angle is fixed on the higher side of 6.5°. Same as the Miata. This is to mimic the RWD feel. The steering will be on the heavier side. The lower the caster angle, the lighter the feel.
Once the designed rake is altered, there will be relative effect on caster angle even if there isn't any adjustability in our cars.
When the rear of the vehicle is lower than its designated trim height, the front suspension moves to a more positive caster. If the rear of the vehicle is higher than its designated trim height, the front suspension moves to a less positive caster.
Camber has no adjustability, too, unless you'd install some camber bolts or plates out front & adjustable arms out back.
The only flexible part we can tweak is toe. Have em checked together w/ tire pressure & your strutmounts. Every suspension component that isn't functioning or tweaked properly to spec will have an effect on your steer feel.
How many kms on your car & since your install? It'll eventually settle. The fronts are rated 26.5N/mm & the rears higher at 31.4N/mm. Remember, the engine weight is out front. The HTech drop is designed to be 30mmF/35mmR. I don't think caster is your problem, otherwise, everyone on HTech will note that feel. Have everything with your suspension checked. Would you recall any out-of-the-ordinary accidental suspension impact? Are the springs seated properly? Hub-strut properly torqued? Control arm bush condition? Are your toe settings really within spec? Look for a shop w/ Hunter Hawkeye equipment...although the old school parallel string method can easily tell you if toe is off.
I'm hopeful it's just somewhere there. Try driving a fellow Mown3r's w/ a similar set up for relative comparo. Please keep us posted...Good luck.![]()

Hi, any one here claimed warranty repairs for electrical under yojin? The reason I'm asking is because I plan to use my speakers, tweeters, & sub woofer from my previous car.
If there wasn't any instance of a problem with your electrical, I would think it's safe to assume that there hopefully also won't be any problem with mine even when I install these.
I think the speakers & tweeter are just plug & play. My concern would be the sub woofer which I would need to tap.
Or maybe anyone here also installed these & were denied yojin electrical warranty because of this?
Thanks!

Last PMS I updated the version of my MZD connect and that includes the navigation map, yesterday i went to Shanghai, upon reaching Hangzhou, navigation went haywire, it keeps on telling me to turn left or turn right at the middle of the expressway while travelling at 100kph!!! The map shows a different location, and at one time i saw my location already travelling thru a river
OT: does anybody know what vehicle using HB4 bulb? TIA
That story simply does not inspire confidence in using Mazda's map. For the disgruntled navigators, maybe we could look into android auto as a hobo alternative?

How was your satellite line of sight? It also happens even on mobile navigators. It may be caused by overcast conditions, tall mountains and buildings, and overpasses or tunnels that hinder satellite signals. It might also mean that the map you're using is not accurate. On certain parts of the Carmona highway Waze always puts me a few streets to the left or the right even when I'm on the main highway maybe because the location on the map is a bit off.
