GT, Deestone, Accelera, Achilles are decent hobo tires. Sailun over Westlake.
    225/45/18s are a bit wider & taller.
I just feel like in terms of brand, its a downgrade from Toyo's to the hobo ones. Although budget-wise, hanggang dun lang ako Leaning towards the Accelera.

BTW, may I ask the difference sa ride between 18s and 19s? Matagtag na ba pag 19s without dropping?

    Thanks Sir Travs!

    Accels are good value tires.
As tire sidewall decreases, relative comfort drops. Should you go 19s, grab 225/40s, you'll have a sidewall of 90mm....Just 6.75mm shorter than stock 215/45/18s. With same pressures, you won't feel much difference.

Recently i hear a "tok" sound when braking. I can even feel it when my left foot rest on the floor mat area.

Before going any deeper, check if your lugnuts are tight. And if you've universal wheel spacers, swap em w/ hubcentric 5x114 ones.

Quick question to all M3 owners with the i-stop technology, my M3's istop has stopped working since last Saturday. M3 is more than a year old now (bought it May 2015). I've never had issues with it until the other day.

When looking at the status, its always the battery icon that doesn't turn blue, the ac and the alternator are always blue, with battery icon always in grey. Could this be a battery issue? How long are the batteries supposed to last?

Just to add a few more information, i use the car daily, aircon temp is always set at 25 degrees celcius, current mileage is at around 6K (home to work is around 6km each way), but average travel time is around 1 hour due to heavy traffic.

Has anyone already had their batteries changed? Are there any signs or symptoms that could warn us about the battery needing to be changed already? When I had my regular maintenance last May 2016, they checked the battery and they said battery is still good.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Anybody here had an issue with their m3 2.0 dunlop tires? mine is brely 2yrs though mileage is * 45k already.. Two of my dunlop tires (rear right and front left) had side wall cracks. Not sure if its because of defective tires, high mileage or nagutter ak. Just weird that two of the tires had crack and its huge. Doesnt look like someone pierced through it, looks authentic cracks along the sidewalls.. Do we have warranty with tires?

    Thanks!

Have you checked for loose lug nuts?

I think this is a serious issue that needs to be addressed by Mazda. I just had my PMS and while I brought up the "tok" issue in my Mz2 to my SA, I overheard at least 2 more owners of Mz3 also complaining about the "tok" sound issue.

Have your battery checked again. Also, i-stop will not work if the cabin temperature is not that cold. Seatbelt is also a factor in i-stop function.

With regards to battery replacement, madami na rin nakapagpalit. Symptoms if its time to change battery, the battery icon will light up and a notification on the infotainment will appear.

Maybe its due to high mileage. Unfortunately, no warranty on tires.

The issue lies with the stock tire models. Mazda equipped the cars out of the factory with economy i.e. cost-effective, and "green" i.e. fuel-saving tires. They are good enough for normal use, but wear out easily once subjected to extreme usage.

If you don't have spacers on & lugnuts have been torqued to spec, have dealership check standard bulletin procedure on brake related noises here:

Just wanted to share, I figured out a way to put my iPhone in front (primarily for waze).

I found this iPhone holder I bought from Daiso before for P88 I think

    img_9502.jpg

    img_9503.jpg

I then broke off the top part.

    img_9504.jpg

Put 3m adhesive tape at the back the placed it below the hazard button.

    img_9506.jpg

    Then voila!
