travs, sayang your friend could have rejected accepting the unit, the dealers normally have the acceptance/delivery as the point of no return for customers claims

i once rejected a delivery, had a dimple ding in the center of the door, dealer took back the car and i waited to get another unit

unfortunately for me, bumper is a major part of the overall look of my car, lalo na if brand new, if its painted separately from factory (like in my bmw aero kit), the color difference is really noticeable, and chances are, the quality is less than ideal, (fades faster, clear coat is thinner), especially if its dealer painted. They most likely use a brand of paint that's the most cost effective for them, and di talaga pulido gawa sa casa, tipid yun gawa. Another pain in the ass with repainted bumpers, they tend to have cracked paint with gentle bumper flex vs orig paint na mas di nagcracrack.

    hi Guys,

Just an update with this one - Berjaya has repainted my rear bumper and I'm quite satisfied with the results - andon na ung "sparkle" nung soul red - ung parang suspended particules. Dati kasi parang shiny red lang eh. So it looks like kaya naman irepaint pala ung soul red - i asked and they said 6500 daw per panel un if ever.

Also, they gave me a rear view camera and premium matting as some sort of compensation - natuwa ako sa premium matting kasi parang 3M sya then may parang metal scuffle plate na maymazda emblem. So far satisfied naman ako with the way they handled my complaint

The Maxx has the old 4AT. The Skyactiv AT is a 6-speed (100kph at around 2100 rpm).

I don't know the technicalities pero will it be hard for Mazda to mat the 1.6l mzr engine to a 5 speed AT?

Wondering lang ba't hindi pa 5 speed yung ginamit nila sa 3rd gen maxx when they have this technology from previous gen.

Dahil kaya sa supply ng 4at na naiwan sa planta?

Just to chime in on the Maxx - I personally dont think its a bad car - and not such a bad deal as is. Yes, its outdated, engine and transmission wise. But it definitely looks good, interior specs are decent for a "base" model, and its price makes it even cheaper than some mid to top range sub-compacts...with a compact body. Plus...its Made in Japan.

If my budget was in the sub 900k range - it'd definitely be on my short list.

Guys, umilaw yung wrench indicator sign sa dashboard, my first PMS was 3rd week of december 2015. Due na ba talaga ang pms? 10,000km or 6months di ba? My current ODO is 2,100km.

Yeah probably a way to use up old stocks. Not really sure if the Maxx is indeed also made in Japan like the other 3s

Better bring it in and let the casa deal with it.

Most likely. 6 months since December this May, they probably set it a bit early....but in any case, a trip to the casa should straighten it out.

Sir trav, tire spec and brand? Can you recommend a tire brand which has good grip and less noise?

Who wouldn't prefer premium? But for my daily I prefer these hobo Accelera PHIs. Great value, decent grip & low noise tires. On BlackMouth are 225/40/19s. Hunter RoadForce balanced....no vibrations.

Only do front & rear toe close to zero. Camber & caster are fixed w/o the necessary aftermarket parts to tweak em.

    Front toe range: 0.08°-0.5°
    Rear toe range: 0.17°-0.24°

    OE specs:
Front & Rear camber spec range:+/-1°
    OE front Caster: 6.5°

Check for centered steeing wheel & you should have no pull to either side after alignment.

format first the usb drive to fat32, pwede to gawin sa windows via windows explorer

then extract the downloaded zip files. then copy all contents to the usb drive. don't use sub folder just copy all files to the formatted usb drive.

plug it on the car before mag start yung infotainment, na try ko na sa ver5600.100A

wait for about two minutes until a prompt saying na tapos na ang pag ttweak then just press ok on the prompt. after that mag rereset yung infotainment.

I did change the theme color to blue, add the date status bar, change the background image and do the common tweak which includes usage of touchscreen even while driving (should be strictly for passengers only para iwas aksidente) all of this was done one at a time per tweak.

    attached is a screenshot

p.s. as always walang assurance. just like what bro testa says all the time. "lakasan lang ng loob" goodluck
