    Mazda3 1.5 6AT JC08 is 19.6/19.4KM/L (Sedan/Hatchback) [111PS 144NM]

    vs

    Mazda3 2.0 6AT JC08 19.0KM/L (Hatchback) [155PS 196NM]

Who wins with 2-4 passengers in Metro Manila traffic?

JC08 is Japans latest method in testing cars fuel efficiency.
    Examples:
Honda Jazz 2014 1.5 CVT 21.4KM/L (this might be released in July in the Philippines)
Mazda3 GHybrid CVT (2.0) 30.8 KM/L already released in Japan
Mitsubishi Mirage HB 1.2 CVT 27.2KM/L

Let's put it into context as well.

I am having difficulty finding the JC08 cycle for the 1.6 Sylphy and Altis 1.6 CVT.

But here is what I found

    Sylphy
1.8 litre MRA8DE four-cylinder engine that produces 131 PS at 6,000 rpm and 174 Nm of torque at 3,600 rpm
15.6 km per litre on the JC08 cycle.

    Altis (Dual VVti)
2ZR-FAE engine used on 1.8-liter models features improved Valvematic
    16.0 km/L in the JC08 test cycle

Can't find one for the Civic yet.

Factory horn sounds good enough, better than other cars. You might try reverse camera if you can find one.

Just picked up my 2014 M3 1.5 sedan today.
First car kasi eh, and sanay sa manual.

    1. Do I put the gear in Neutral at long stop lights (with handbrake?) Or should I leave it in Drive? Umaangat kasi unahan ko kapag nakahandbrake tapos Drive. I'm thinking masisira handbrake (and transmission).

    2. Nasaan ang trunk release button (interior) ng M3 1.5?? Dun sa manual merong pipinduting button eh, I'm not sure sa 2.0, pero dun sa unit ko wala ata (wala nung trunk release na drawing kung asan dapat siya). Tinry ko buksan from loob using the remote, hindi umangat 'yung trunk eh.

    3. Kapag nilock 'yung kotse from loob while the engine is running, hindi ko maunlock 'yung kotse using the remote. Medyo hassle eh. =p

    1. That's the right way to do it. Keeping it in D will add unnecessary stress to your transmission and brakes.

    3. Hindi talaga nauunlock using the remote. Use the door unlock button using the cabin.

Wala eh.

Did you check your user manual? On the US versions the trunk release is above the hood release.

Meaning, you have to pay for it later on if you want this activated thru SDCard

Mga boss i do suddgest lang po na everytime namakakakuha tayo ng chance namasilip ang mazda3 sa casa or sa mall display do point out the thing na wala sa sasakyan like the other masda3 outside the country. Like ung camera na already a basic thing to have specialy in the mazda3 2.0, sd card whats the use of gps kung di mo magamit? I'm just not so sure it will work but it worth to try na mapagana ung gps.

Twice nako nakapag-inquire ng masda3 2.0 na sinasabi ko nga bakit wala ng mga dapat na meron dahil nga dapat high end siya ng mazda3 tapos tinanggal nila iba feature.. after a year ilalagay na nila pra masabi na uprade.

I sat inside the Mazda 3 awhile ago at Trans Sport show. All of the materials are nice to touch and the fit and finish is also perfect. My only gripe is the rear view mirror which looks quite large for me. The sunroof is too small I think? Or maybe I'm just used to my friend's panoramic roof in his Tucson. Also, Altis still wins in rear passenger legroom and headroom. I adjust my seat into my driving position then tried to sit in the back. It didn't have enough legroom for me to slouch and the back seat felt too low.

Overall it's still a great looking car, the best interior among the current compact cars. Well anyway it's perfect for those looking for an alternative/coding family car. It might not be the best car if you'll always have to carry 4 passengers with you.

yan ang real reason sir sa tingin ko, kasi diba launching price palang ito? so after 6 months baka magdagdag na sila ng iba pang variant na best seller sa 4 current variants nila ngayon tapos idadagdag yang GPS, back up cam etccc.. para masabing bagong mazda 3

Yung tipong mababasa mo sa headline..."All new Mazda 3 now with more great features" ... tas lahat ng thumbnails sa advert may asterisk tas nakalagay "for 2.0l variants only" hahahahaha
