Vios may extra horn lang sa firewall. Only sounds if you unlock and open the door using a key instead of the remote.

May mga add on alarms naman that tap to the existing lock/unlock system so di na kelangan ng separate remote.

Yung previous CX5 ko pinakabitan ko noon ng Autopage Alarm and it utilizes the same OEM Key. It has shock sensor and auto close function at certain speed yata or when you press the brake pedal.

Six lucky owners will have their new 3's soon!

Saw two new colors when the truck made a left turn: midnight blue and black - both 2.0R. Sayang wasn't able to take a photo showing all 6 cars.

Just got my Mazda 3 2.0 AT Sedan (Aluminium Metallic) last Thursday right after bagyo. It's my first car. Started playing with a friend's Lancer MT and Montero Sport AT three weeks ago and so far puro short distance drive lang (longest was from Commonwealth to Shell SLEX via C5).

The only reason I got it was because of the sun roof and the HUD. I actually reserved a unit kahit hindi ko pa siya nakita in person. Was only able to see the unit noong kulit ng kulit sales agent ko for me to check the unit.

So far, I like it. I get praises from friends dahil sa medyo maangas na look dala ng mahabang hood. Steering is much more responsive and sensitive as compared to my friend's Lancer and Montero Sport. At first, nanibago ako kasi nalalakasan ako sa kagat ng break until I found the sweet spot kailan lumalakas kagat niya.

I had it tinted dark except sa harap na medium.

The only frustration I have ay di pa in-o-offer as dealer add-on ang navigation SD cards and rearview camera. I asked my SA to inform me kung available na sila.

Hi all! Planning to get this looker in the coming months but I'm still doing my research as I'm using up my savings to replace my current Lancer EX GT-A which is very nice durable but not nearly as fun to drive than my old first gen Mazda 3 2.0R :D

Planning to get the 2.0R again so I would just like to get your personal comments on the car like pros and cons. Thanks!

Hi lantis07, my wife and i test drove the 1.5L variant...if it's just for city driving, it's more than enough. The exterior and interior finish is excellent, resembles that of BMW and Audi combined (note: resembles, not exactly like it). it's spacious in the interior (assuming front passengers are about 5'5"-5'6", the rear passengers won't complain. Though if it's taller front passengers, the rear seats lose a bit of legroom. But since my wife and I are not taller than 5'5", this car is perfect for us.

The drive as i mentioned is great for city driving...but if you want more oomph...go for the 2.0L variant (which you are already targeting to get)...aside from the extra torque, you get more toys (HUD, sunroof, leather seats, etc). The ride is nice and smooth, and for me, the suspension feels great. i didn't notice that much road noise along C5-Libis while going 80-100 kph. Some reviews say there's a bit of road noise from the tires of the 2.0L variant since there's more rubber touching the ground...but i don't think that will be a deal breaker.

Coming from older car, this Mazda 3 definitely feels great to drive. Best way know for sure is to drop by a dealer and test drive the 2.0L variant so you can judge for yourself. You won't regret it. My wife and I are also planning to get this...hopefully in the near future. The other choices we had were the hyundai accent hatchback crdi, ford fiesta 1.0L ecoboost and the ford ecosport. The moment we test drove this, we decided that the search was over. :D

Thanks sir Dennis! I actually tested the 2.0 already and in terms of driving feel, it feels sportier and handles much better than the Lancer GT-A I'm currently using which is more inclined towards a softer ride despite using 18-inch rims and sporty suspension as well.

I just wish the steering feel of the 2014 was the same as my old Mazda 3 2.0 mas mabigat. This one has EPS na kasi And in terms of space, it can fit me, my siter, mom and grandmother comfortably since we're not really tall people (I'm only 5'7 and the rest of the gang are shorter than me).

I'm really hoping to decide soon as I'm reading up some more feedback from forums abroad since they've been using the car for a few months now. Enjoy your soon to be new ride!

Your route is notorious for heavy rush hour traffic so 5.8-6.6 km/L isn't very surprising.

Notorious is actually an understatement. Heavy traffic speed is about 14km/hr with lots of short stops. Highway driving is however a different story as i normally get low 8 to 9 L/100km with very heavy foot (cannot be avoided actually as the car just begs to be driven hard and the response and acceleration is just pure joy). Overall, i'm happy with the car. No rattles and niggles whatsoever. Interior built and quality and feel is also more on the upscale kind.

Tingin ko kasi, very little yung impact ng driving habit especially pag same bumper to bumper condition rin naman yung byahe mo. Di ka rin naman makakarev up pag traffic so you probably are already driving conservatively.
There were several occasions that i got better FC (upper 12-14L/100km) but traffic then was relatively light. By relatively, i mean traffic is moving at around 40-60 km/hr. Average city driving, however, is the FC i've mentioned. Just wondering how come other 2.0 owners are getting a relatively better FC even with heavy traffic. Could this be a case of tuning issue. Just had the car's PMS service about a month ago and prior to the 1000 km PMS, FC for pure city driving was a little worse.

Would FC improve if i-STOP is disabled during heavy traffic? I don't think it would be helpful if the engine is turned off only for 5-15 seconds.

    .
Not really sure how istop works but i've tried turning it off before and the FC went up significantly also during the same stop and go traffic. Went around the city today though with very light traffic and i was able to get 10km/L. First time i achieve such FC. I think heavy traffic coupled with lots of stop and go situation is really bad for FC istop notwithstanding. Tried using euro IV 91octane gasoline btw. This could have made the difference. Not conclusive yet as i've just started filling it up with euro IV gas

Sir Parak, this might help. Lower portion ba ng windshield? I think may TSB sa states or Canada na ganyan. Been reading long term reviews and it helps nga ata to wait a bit

^^^ You shouldn't post the same question over and over again on every thread that suits you. Be patient and someone will answer, don't expect an answer immediately after you post your question.
