If you can smell something from the exhaust or fuel system, have them checked for leaks. Also have the aircon filter (does the Mz3 have one?) replaced, could be a bad batch.

And please stay within the speed limit on public roads. If you want to give the car a thrashing rent a track.

If it's H2S, I doubt there's anything the dealership can do but wait for the cat to age. This has been reported a few times amongst the group. And if you'd check, you'll see this isn't Mazda-specific.

Here's a clip of in-cabin filter swap DIY:

It doesn't matter what chemical it is, the thing is it should not be seeping into the cabin. Check the coupling seals/gaskets in the pipings and the headers.

The kodo M3 might be too young to have common issues popping. Yojin3, the best out there, keeps Mown3rs assured....but even that can't counter the claws of addiction.

I stayed hobo 1.5 hatch after trying all variants. My daily needs don't require the added horses. Plus, I want my cars in their simplest forms, devoid of gizmos. We don't have long term i-Stop reviews yet & that batt cost is equivalent to 3. A year into my Mown3rship, zero regrets....I'm still struggling to keep the addiction in check.

That they can surely do. If only cars were airtight, Yatta sir.

This is neither make nor model specific, sir. That 'crap happens' cliche applies here, sadly.

Guess it's just the adhesives or materials they're using these days. My Vios smelled the same when I rev high. The smell goes away after a while though. Can't smell it on my 3 anymore when I give it the beans on an open road. That took more than half a year of daily driving.

Haha..just passing on to the soul red guy,GrandMast3r Geo, who has been mum....Joey mod can sound a bit intimidating & overwhelming tho. Headlamps are no hobo....margin of error to bake, tear apart & put back is pretty slim.
