While its true that hides grow back, the experience can be pretty painful Sir Travs. Its not really a question of getting permission to purchase since my wife gives me some slack when it comes to these small vices. Besides she earns as much as I do, its more a question of my fiddling with her Mz3, hehe. Its hers after all. I'll probably go first for some car mats and reverse camera as she finds these of use.

Is it a question of paying for it or the mods itself? If it is the former then its just a matter of asking at the right moment. Its harder if its the latter. In my case, I have my own ride and my wife tends to keep her car at stock. Anyway, good luck to you sir, I won't begrudge you if you get the rims.

I wish that were always true sir Travs but way back in college, my gf knew a lot more about cars than I did so we shouldn't underestimate the ladies. Of course, Im a noob when it comes to cars. That's why I always find this site very informative although some threads seem to go way off mark when the discussion deviates from car talk. Thanks for the advice sir Travs, just reading your banter with other people in this site has been very instructive.

the mod itself sir. Same as your wife, she wants to keep it stock.

Anyway, no luck convincing her to change shoes
She keeps telling me that i can do whatever i want with my car and should leave her ride alone. Still, im not losing hope

Not a matter of price sir, i don't even get to the point where i tell her the price. Lol

Experiencing some rear tires rubbing with the 245 45 19s

    Stock height
    2 adults 2kids.

Anybody experiencing this? Only happens when we run by a slight dip on the road

Bro AC, you should have gotten 225/40 19 instead of 245/45. 245/45 is too big for our Mz3. If you wanted wider tires, 245/35 19 is the best alternative or 235/35 19 but at the expense of comfort due to thinner sidewall. I bet the rim offset is +45 and you won't have any rubbing issues if you have the 225/40 or 245/35. Just my 2cents.

Haha, it's not underestimating, grover sir. I'm just saying the female eye is generally & naturally tuned to be more sensitive & precise on anything other than automotive.
Your gf back in college was a rare breed.
Luckily, my wife leaves em cars to me as she trusts this hobo & always finds the mild mods I do to her liking. She knew & embraced my passion long before we started dating.
And...no thanking needed, sir. The forums are here for everyone to learn from & share w/.....The biggest bonus???? Friendships forged!!!

Spot on advice there, Geo brah. 245/45/19s are just too tall & wide.

    Hi,

Anyone know what this opening is? Just got back from Ilocos and saw this. It's underneath the upper right headlight part.

There was a lot of construction so we went off road sometimes but I was very careful and drove slowly. Maybe this caused this?

    Hope it's nothing serious

Either you just lost a bolt or something hit to deform that plastic cover, Bob sir. Nothing serious. If it's the latter, you can remove the cover, apply some heat w/ a heat gun or blow dryer & massage it back straight.
Here's a pic of mine for guidance, sir...

The mood is really light in this thread sir Travs and people are very helpful. I guess I'll just read along this thread although I have little to contribute. I was quite drained in another thread were the topic was not on cars but rather on the economy so to speak. there were noobs there who couldn't quite get it or probably did not want to. One was polite but the other was, well let us just say I hope he did not come from the same institution that I did.

Haha...I've long learnt that omniscience is a godly trait mere mortals could never possess.....Some just forget they are not gods.:D
We can't control how others behave....but we can how we do. Some tolerance, patience, humility, maturity, even wit & humor can very well counter the insecurity, envy, sarcasm & all the negative energy out there.
On here, we simply discuss common passions, share whatever is useful to Mown3rship, & build friendships. Is this so hard?
