Anyone here use a smartphone mount for their Mazda 3? Any recommendations?

Using a suction cup mount from CDRKing. So far so good. I don't like sticking anything on the dash. I also destroyed one of the aircon vents on a previous car when I used a clip on so I don't use those either.

This 1's an Australian M3 OE cupholder mount...nice, but RWD-specific. Buy a mount & attach to a cut cup that fits.

which type from cd r king?

i bough a few from them before and their suction and plastic mould did not last 3 months. nag crack yun mould and suction not able to stick anymore, medyo natunaw, naging mabasa to the touch.

same thing when i bought from capdase, yun orig, lasted longer than cd r king, but didn't last long enough for its price (900 to 1k plus depends sa model), nasira una yun clamping mechanism, since spring loaded with a stopper yun, then the suction as well. moulding held up pretty well though.

the car i put it on is parked outside so exposed to extreme heat and changes in temperature when it rains bigla.

Not sure what kind pero I think I got it for less than 300. Suction type na parang may locking lever. Nilipat ko pa sya from another car and although medyo sticky na ang cup dumikit pa rin ng maayos sa 3. Medyo shaded nga lang parking non so di sya bilad the whole day.

Japan home center suction type sir. 88 petot mag 1 year na ata ayus pa din. Basta nakasandal sa dash ung phone para di bumitaw. Yung iba pansin ko taas ng pagka kabit e.

My 12 month/20k km PMS took 4 hours this morning. Requested them to also update the infotainment, sabi sakin wala daw binibigay na latest sa kanila ang planta:what: Atleast they didn't question me about the backup camera hehe:D

Tagal ah. My 20k took just over an hour lang. I was one of the first in line though.

What's the current version of your infotainment? Di ko na sila tinanong dahil naka-DIY v56 na ako

wow, wala pa ako na try na dealer (even other brands) na 1 hour lang gawin yun PMS, kahit mga advertised express service ng ibang brands tumatagal din ng 3 hrs. actually pagantay sa service advisor (palagi late) at check list 1 hour na though technically oil change and normal PMS checks should take 1 hour lang talaga or even less. sang dealer yan? astig!

that's my ave time also, though i leave my car so i can be productive instead of waiting. they call me its ready for pick up mga 4 to 5 hours after the service guy properly receives the car.

this is actually the reason why sometimes napapaisip ako to just have the car serviced sa labas sa trusted mechanic ko, sayang lang din yun yoijin3.

funny our dealers are not updated with the infotainment software, i guess iilan lang sa atin ang nag rerequest for update or are having problems with the infotainment for them to have a latest copy as a fix.

Pasig naman ako ever since. Set an appointment for 8AM, arrived 8:15, out by 9:15. They have at least two guys each on the four bays. Di naman dapat matagal yan since they have all the tools available and nothing major has to be done.

Sinabihan naman ako over the phone when I scheduled my PMS that it would take 3-4hrs. Kaya last night i prepared vids from youtube to DL para maview ko offline while waiting hehehe. My schedule was 8am and got there 8:30am. Naghatid pa kasi ako. Was able to look at the other Mazdas while waiting. Found out na TOTL lang pala ng MZ2 ang naka-7inch infotainment display. V33.005 Infotainment ko btw.
I asked my SA about the availability ng MZ3 kasi madami dito natatagalan makuha unit nila. Sabi niya ang matagal daw ngayon ay yung 1.5V which takes 2-3 months while the 2.0R can take a month.

True. The service agent even had to ask manong mechanic about the infotainment update. I guess they just made up a generic excuse na wala pa nanggagaling sa planta.
