My first mod hehe. The videoplay works but is somehow still flaky. Not all compatible mp4s can be played--not sure if it's a USB issue. I'm still playing around with the recommended formats and see which works best.

BTW, this works while driving so very useful for those Mown3rs that have kids!

No, mod lang itong video player. V56 or even 55 ay walang ganitong function, pero who knows kung gagawa ang Mazda ng video player intended sa Infotainment natin. Pero thanks to the guys at mazda3rev forums at nakagawa sila ng ganito.

I tried this but didnt work for me

Sana naman magkaroon ng update locally tapos no-need na for mods and hacking. Just like infotainments ng ibang brands.

Make sure to have your USB formatted to FAT32 then copy and paste all files from the ZIP folder to the root folder of your USB. Once done, turn off your car, then turn it back on. Wait for the Infotainment screen to load then pop in your USB. 30 secs later you should get a prompt saying it's all good then it will require you to reboot the system (Back+NAV+Mute). If you've done this then you could be doing something wrong. Make sure you verify that you're on V55 or V56.

Lets hope the official firmware will do this. Gaya ng palagi kong sinasabi, powerful ang Infotainment natin dahil sa dami ng pwedeng gawin. May mod pa nga akong nakita na nagpatakbo ng Linux OS sa Infotainment at nakapaglaro pa ata ng Mario dyan. For now, asa lang muna tayo sa mga mods/hacks na ginagawa ng mga users.

+1. ☺ did this to my m2 infotainment. The installation failed the first time. I followed the instructions again, then boom. Can now watch HTGAWM in my M2 ☺
