For private and military planes na lang yung airport sa Baguio. Wala nang commercial flights years ago pa. Last time I was there dumaan pa ako sa tarmac. Dinadaanan na ng mga sasakyan yung tarmac for short cut to cross the other side.

About a decade ago, we landed at Loakan Airport. Our (small) plane took off from Manila. We were doing benchmarking with TI Baguio, and working on university tie ups with UB and SLU.... Going back a few days later, we took the bus....

They should make a drag strip out of it. :D

Yung old airport sa Bacolod hosts drags every now and then.

Kala siguro naka Funny Car sila; may parachute yun diba?

If the airport isn't in use much anymore, they should keep cars off the runway. That will destroy the tarmac and what if there's a car going through and a air transport is landing like what happened at another airport before?

Here's the road construction in Moncada. This is too much work for me, so I might abandon the idea of posting videos of the blockades. I also can't find software that will let me capture both the video and the live map. Anyway, maybe I'll just post videos of Marcos Highway (going up) and Kennon Road (going down) so everyone will have an idea how they compare.

Read some tips but most are old.

Which is safer now? McArthur or Kennon?

We plan to leave 3am from Paranaque.

You mean Marcos. Maliwanag naman na niyan pagdating niyo sa norte, pwede na Kennon. Only avoid Kennon during heavy downpour and at night. Pero kanya-kanyang comfort zone din yan, so depende kung san ka comfortable dumaan.

Both are ok. Kennon is "sportier", night travel friendly due to lots of road signages, and shorter by about 15km. Marcos hwy bores me, not to mention that all buses and trucks pass there by default.

Both require 100%attenton so drive safely.

Still prefer Kennon anytime of the day. May isang portion lang na under construction, but manageable if early morning.

Thanks. Sorry about the mcarthur marcos highway confusion. Last time I was in baguio was decades ago.

First time to drive the family next month so i need to be certain. Di naman kami mag mamadali so malamang Marcos highway kami.

I went up there this May. I left manila around 3:30am. Gusto ko kasi pasikat ng araw since I do not want to drive Kennon when its dark. The nlex-sctex-tplex road is a pleasure to drive, so you don't really have to be in a hurry. I took the Kennon road going up & Marcos hway going down. I feel that Marcos highway is an easier drive going down, coasted in 6th most of the time:-)

Hey guys, I'm plannng to go to Baguio this weekend, Sunday-Monday. Problem is, the car that I am planning to use is Coding on a Monday. Diba may Coding sa Baguio? Is there a way around it? I dont wanna use the other car cause I've been using it everytime I go for a long drive.
