Here's a video of my drive up to Baguio via Naguilian Road. There are 2 portions of the highway that are reduced to single lane traffic lane due to road erosion, the first one is at 4:38 and the second one (not shown on the video) is around 10 minutes drive from the first one. This video was taken last year but hasn't changed much when I drove up to Baguio via the same highway two months ago.

if rainy not advisable to use Kennon. This is due to falling debris. Better to use Marcos Hi-way via Rosario-Pugo diversion road. I am from Rosario LU. cheers

x2 on this. More falling rocks on Kennon when it rains hard. AFAIK they automatically close Kennon if there's been more than three hours of continuous moderate to heavy rains.

We used Naguilian, as per Sir Gumusut_Amige's advice to get to Thunderbird faster.... Save for that accident yesterday, may two trucks nag kabanggaan, but nothing major! Thanks everyone! I had a blast driving again yesterday (to Baguio and Thunderbird San Fernando).... With everyone's participation and kind inputs, I know that this thread will certainly help those who are planning to go on a road trip to Baguio or La Union in the near future. God bless everyone!
