So just accept it. Hindi sa usage yan

Honda suggests 35F33R for the CTR and on the Civic Sport 235/40/18s

    Should we follow Honda?
First, the recommended tire pressure isn't the only safe tire pressure you can use. Going +/- 3 PSI won't increase your chances of sidewall bulges. I've tried 35/33 and it rides stiffly on our roads. Also, the R18 is 70 kg lighter than the L15 turbo, so slightly lower tire pressure is fine.

Second, even with properly inflated tires, you can get sidewall bulges. I had them on my Dunlop LM703 (205/55R16) that was always properly inflated.

Sometimes, it's just bad tires. Sometimes, it's just bad roads. But it's never because of a small variance in tire pressure.

Better question is how much are you willing to spend for new tires. Tire prices depend on brand, model, and size.

For those with 17" or bigger rims, the more upscale brands (Bridgestone, Michelin) will cost around 9k or more per tire.

tire size is 205/55r16. Im after its durability, okay lang kahit medyo pricey.

Common size eto ng compact cars. What do you have? Civic or Altis or Mazda3?

You can check out Bridgestone Turanza GR series or Michelin Primacy series.

Low budget yet good quality tires
