Too old is when you won't be able to wear out the tire before it expires.
Tires expire every 6 years. So if it's a 2 year old tire, as long as you can travel 40-50,000 km in 4 years, it should be fine.
That said - parang mahal pa rin for 16" tires. You can get the newer PS4 for that price already.

September 10th, 2018 09:31 PM #1523How did those marks come about? Naipit ba yan or nakapatong lang sa steel holder? If there was no heat involved then superficial lang mga marks na yan and filling the tire with the right pressure will make them disappear. Pero kung nainitan yan baka may deterioration na.
Try filling it up 2 or 3 PSI above your car's recommended pressure and see if the marks go away. Chances are they will if hindi na expose sa mainit na bakal yung goma mo.

September 10th, 2018 09:49 PM #1524I see I’ll look for other options then. Thanks for the input
Unfortunately, I think the PS4s aren’t made for the specific size mentioned earlier. Too bad they seem like great tires based on the reviews online.
Hmm given that maybe a better option would be to get Civic RS turbo mags with wheels since I have 1.8 stock. When I wear those down PS4s come in its size hehe. Have to ask my SA though about warranty impact.

I've gone almost 50,000 km with my non-stock 18" rims and have never had any suspension issues. Also, never been called out by the casa on the wheels.
And besides, if you want to be strict about it, then keep your worn stock tires and rims but upgrade anyway. Then if you need to claim warranty, just put the old set back on.

September 12th, 2018 09:31 PM #1526Naipit lang po sa steel holder na lagayan ng spare tire sa ilalim. No heat involve.
Napahigpit ata masyado pagkakalagay. At mukhang di chineck or tinanggal manlang since day 1 from Casa. Halos 1 year na. Which is everytine na magpapa pms ako. I always ask them na pasuyo check narin ung reserve. And they said yes. Pero mukang hindi naman ginalaw
And thanks sir. Try ko hanginan ng mga 38psi baka sakali bumalik at mawala ung mark. sayang din kasi.
Salamat po. And keep safe everyone

Pinakamatibay sa bias tires yung MRF bro. Best sa mileage, overloading and wala halos returns.
