The last time I checked, brand-new gray market units were still more expensive than local ones. But they do make up for it in content like dual airbags, ABS, high end audio, better 4wd system (TOD), availble third seat, etc.

It depends on the trim level. There are also more basic units from Korea.

Importation of used vehicles is very strict nowadays. It might be difficult to find a used unit from Korea at the present time.

Meron pa kayang ganyan since naging mainit yang Sorento importation galing ng Korea. Daming nahuli na imported Sorento sa subic yata yon at ganoon din sa Cebu at may nahuli pang mga Koreans. Jackpot ka makakuha ng Korean version since gaya nga ng sabi ni Otep, mas maraming option.

Guys yong hilamos na sinasabi ba nila ng car, ibig sabihin ba noon repainting/recoating ng paint? Pag may mga dents na dapat repair, extra charge pa kaya yon? Dami kasi tama ng mga maliit na bato ng last trip ko sa province dagdag pa yong scratches gawa ng mga customer namin. Maganda ang black color kaya lang hirap maintain.

Iba-iba din ang grade ng hilamos nila. Merong outer panels only, merong kasama yung mga singit singit ng pinto at underhood areas, etc. Tatlong klase ata.

Iv'e ask some dealers around here and they are still selling imported sorrentos but the price they gave me is around 900-950k and the mileage is around 30k-50k km.. Is the price reasonable for it's mileage??

Thanks OTEP, I'll see them pag uwi ko this time. Yong tuff coat or diamond finish ng Ziebart may idea ka ba kung matagal din sya mag fade at kung makakaprotect din ito sa mga bird droppings at scratches na nag aappear after sulatan yong alikabok sa body ng sasakyan? Ito kasi malimit na problem ko. TIA

Check it out baka sa price na sabi mo makakuha ka ng second hand VGT version though medyo malabo. Di ko lang sure pero sabi ng iba ang ave km/yr is at least 10K ata para ma determine mo na di laspag ang sasakyan though di rin reliable para sa akin since ng binili 93' ESI ko noong 96', naka over 50K na rin sya at until now 98,000KM after malakas pa rin ang makina.

AFAIK, parang paint protection yung sa Ziebart. I'd take BigBert's paint protection packages over Ziebart's any day of the week.

BTW, yong erratic operation of my signal light last time nga pala is due sa isang defective bulb lang so if you guys encountered same problem, maski sa car accessories store na lang magpa change ng bulb.

Cheaper, I don't know. But Big Bert's is worth their price (see: www.bigberts.org ). Because the people who run Big Bert's actually like cars. Sila mismo [yung mga boss] makikita mong nagtatrabaho dun sa mga sasakyan ng clients.

mine is 20k already, had the fuelfilter change, the most costly so far that I have spent..

Gregg_g, naunahan mo pa ako to reach 20K. Mine is 18,900 Kms odo reading and still no trouble so far. Pansin ko lang tumataas ang mileage lalong bumibilis sa hatawan Yong erratic signal lights due to one busted bulb lang. The effect is when you activate the signal light, you'll observe sa dashboard indicator yong pagbilis ng flicker nya.

:bwahaha: Sinabi mo pa. I really enjoy driving it sa mga long trips since di man lang ako napapagod at yong adrenalin pag humahataw ka na grabe. Cousin ko nga may nerbiyos pag sumasakay sa sasakyan pero pag sakay ko sya sa Sorento nawawala nerbiyos nya. Di nya feel na tumatakbo na daw pala kami ng 140/150 kph.

helo mga peeps ,seems that we are all very satisfied driving our sorento heh..
tanong ko lang sa mga naka 2.7 ltr sorento naririnig nyo ba yong truck like sound sa tambucho kapag humahataw kayo ng sorento sa akin kasi 3.5 V6 engine kaya nararamdaman ko yung parang truck na tunog pag umaarangkada at rumerekta , Iam enjoying it alot .

g-shock sa unit ko which is 2.5 diesel, di ko na observe yong sinasabi mo na sound. Baka sa gas version lang nangyayari yan. Unit mo ba yong 240/260 hp rating na Sorento o yong 197 hp rating pa din? Sarap talagang ihataw ang Sorento
