yup, before pa naging UMC motor then kia ulit... tangap parin sila ng nissan... ok naman ung stickers, pero ung dealer name buti nasa glass, ung "test drive" na sticker lang talaga......ewan lang kay misis, ayaw nya ng ma-sticker....lalo na kung black...

2 weeks old palang naman daw, puro plastic cover pa ung HU, at kung saan saan pa... after 1 month pa effect ung 1 mo. disc... ang tanung, 1st owner pa kaya ako???

Alam ko po first owner ka pa din because the vehicle is not yet registered.

Sakin kahit hindi na ko first owner ok lang basta malaki discount.

does the unit have plates already? for it to be a test drive unit, it'll have to have plates on it. it's most probably registered to columbian or the dealer. when you get it, it'll probably reflect that you're the second owner already but i guess it's ok, columbian naman ang first owner eh, you're practically the actual "first owner."

maybe you can have a detailing shop remove the stickers for you, they'd most likely have something to remove the sticker residue.

ok lang din sa akin, malaking discount na yun, tsaka, i think kompyansa na kahit tesdrive unit yun, alaga yun for sure, aba, baka mapahiya sila pag nag-breakdown bigla....

Patanggal mo sa Kia Quezon Avenue yung graphics. I think they have an in-house detailing team as part of their paint and body shop if you are interested in the unit.

Good luck po, balitaan mo na lang kami. Ang ganda nung interior ngayon. The fake wood still looks fake, pero at least glossy na and may chrome accents na ang interior.

yup. kahit fake wood, it doesent matter, mas lean ako sa space, at performance.... kahit extra cost nalang ng konti siguro...pwede na din...

with faux wood trim? EX variant na, seems like a good deal to me. i think ABS isn't available anymore though, but still a good deal if you ask me. big difference ang feel ng interior ng EX compared to the LX.

I also got the upgraded sorento EX (2007) and the interior is definitely a huge improvement even from the old EX model.

- New HUD - maganda kapag gabi
- auto transmission console looks better now
- chrome accent without making it look cheap
- center console konting difference lang pero di na looking bare
- new 2din CD/cass/MP3

ang gripe ko lang parang umiinit yung center storage bin and yung small compartments sa gitna - baka hindi properly insulated sa ilalim? But not really that annoying.

Wala na bang ABS lahat ng incoming units? Hindi na kasi nakalagay dun sa brochure.

Alam ko hindi global ang TX, Korean trim lang iyon. Kahit sa Europe walang TX (o TLX?). EX at LX ang global trim pero hindi pa din uniform. Iba ang EX ng isang market sa EX ng isa pa. Parang ganun.

Diba iniiba na din nila ang mga domestic names ng ibang products to curb direct importation. Para alam agad kung gray or hindi? E.g. Picanto is called the Kia Morning sa kanila.

Maranello01, yong unit mo ba kasama sa upgraded version with new front suspension set up, active headrest system at new headlight design? May nabasa kasi ako na adds ng upgraded sorento sa newspaper for 2007. Astig ang black Sorento naka picture doon.

Yup upgraded yung model ko - headrest, new headlight design. Yung suspension not sure. Nakita ko yung ad na sinasabi mo and I also got a full brochure (booklet type) for the 2007 model - halos pareho naman yung specs (except yung mga high end specs such as moonroof, steering control etc.) Nakalagay doon nga nitrogen gas filled shock na rin but I can't really validate.

otep, wala pa rin ABS, but i like the braking feel of 4 disc brake of the sorento than that the ABS assisted carnival ko.

Thanks po. Meron kasi ako nung unang brochure. Yung para sa unang labas na V6 models. Dual SRS, ABS+EBD pa dati.

BTW guys, share ko lang happenings ko with my Sorento last trip ko to panay island. On my way from calapan mindoro to san jose mindoro pier, may nakasabayan akong Nissan patrol 3.0Di. Gusto ko sanang mag overtake dahil habol ko barge trip to Caticlan, boracay but ayaw magbigay. Speed up ako, ganoon din gagawin ng driver ng Patrol so sunod lang ako muna. Then ng makakita ng chance, hataw ako to overtake at talagang gustong bumawi pero di na niya ako maabutan. Then pabalik naman, Isuzu Trooper na naman at ayaw din pa overtake. So pinabayaan ko lang pero nakatutok ako sa likod nya pressuring him at the same time testing the Trooper driver hanggang saan nya kayang harangin ang Sorento ko. Nang paakyat na kami sa bundukin na daan, nakasilip ako ng chance to overtake so hataw na naman ako para maka overtake at talagang habol ang Trooper. Pero ng umabot na kami sa portion na downward na ang daan, totally naiwan na ang Trooper. Malakas talaga ang 2.5 CRDI engine ng Sorento. Sa totoo lang, been driving this beast for over 2 years now pero my accelleration push never slowed down. I find the Sorie stable too sa high speed cornering. Iba talaga ang may wider stance. What more kaya if it's 2.5 CRDi with VGT? Also sa Iloilo City, saw a couple of Sorentos na rin.

Horsepower, I don't think the 2007 updated version is a VGT since di mentioned sa newspaper add. I'm sure KIA will be very proud to announce it's a VGT kung VGT version na nga cosidering the great power improvements. Watchout sa gray market baka may makalusot na VGT version. Baka mas mahal nga lang.

Hindi pa din tayo VGT up to now (and possibly still not VGT in 2007).

Hindi po nagpapasok ng VGT ang Kia dito sa atin. Unlike sa home market nila na available ang VGT and non-VGT models.

Bakit kaya ano? sayang naman. ganda pa naman ng may VGT.
