have you guys seen the kia sorrento na binebenta ng kia quezon eve naka bodykit and 18in rims, with split dual muffler tips. porma ha. 1.455m. pormado talaga.

Yes a remap of the 2.5CRDi's (Sorento/Starex) computer box can easily bump up the HP and Torque.

Data in the Electronic Control Module is optimized in the chiptuning process. That means the maps for injection (also ignition with gasoline cars) and charge pressure are measured and increased in conjunction with each other in the whole RPM band. Programing in relation to load and RPM is also optimized.
Power and torque improvement of 20-30% for Turbo Engines, and 8-12% for Normally Aspirated engines are easily reached, resulting to a high improvement in acceleration, agility and top speed and fuel economy!
The engine's lifetime will not be deminished as long as regular service intervals are followed. Tolerances for engine longevity is still maintained.

All Sorentos have a Borg-Warner 4x4 system. Walang 4x2 variant.

Ibang-iba naman ata ang Sorento kaysa sa pick-up...Apples to oranges iyan.

Kung tao lang, ok na ang Sorento. Yung presyo ng Mitsubishi Montero Sport hindi naman din nalalayo sa top of the line Sorento. Hindi naman people carrying ang primary design ng pick up. Kahit bagong Hi-lux, mas comfortable pa din ang karamihan ng SUV.

mechanix, the LX Limited that we got costs 1.27M. there's a cheaper model, LX, which goes for about 1.2?M. konti lang diperensya so i suggest mag-LX Ltd nalang ang friend mo. kung may budget pa, the EX is a good buy because it is loaded with more features.

as sir Otep said, kung tao lang, pwede na ang sorento. kaya lang 5-seater lang sya. if you read sorento owners in this thread with longer driving experience on it, lahat very satisfied.

surf_pilot, what is the effect on the fuel consumption of the sorento after the tuning that you are offering?

Parehong 5 seater sila. Sa accessories/options lang nagkaiba.
I own a Sorento with 9500 km sa ODO without any problems. It's CRDi engine is good because mostly of the components are from BOSCH germany which is mostly found sa european cars. Never pa reported any porblems sa makina unlike sa D4D ng Toyota na may mga reported problems na sa thread dito maski na ilang kilometers pa lang ang takbo ng ride nila.
