Victory.... In my case, I've done this also ---- changing the fan belt and checking the aircon belt---- last time i encountered the warping of the fan belt pero still encountered the warning hand brake light signal once in a while... kaya for me mukhang hindi eh...

Also on the panel lights........ last week when i tried to tap an electronic volt meter via the lighter outlet, the lights at hazard's and defogger's button went out as in these buttons do not illumunate when park light is on..... thou hazard lights and defogger respond when these buttons are depressed... any experience on this? TIA

Changing the FAN belt will not solve the problem if the "auto tensioner" is not replaced kasi maluwag na hindi na maka higpit.. That is one of the weakpoint of an auto tensioner . hindi ka maka manual adjust .. kaya if mamisalign ang fan belt ..talagang wasak ang belt mo.. pa check mo pa rin yung auto tensioner baka malambot na ..

regarding the panel lights wala pa ako experience dyan..

Hey! What happened to our thread??? It was over 65 pages and now it's back to page 35! Did the board get hit by a virus?

I think the admins changed the default thread view. If you go to the "User CP" link at the top of the page, and then to the "Edit Options" link at the left side of the control panel, you'll be taken to the page where you can specify the number of posts that appear on each page of a thread.

The default used to be 10 posts per page, but I also noticed that it was changed to 20 posts per page. It's a forum-wide change, so all the other long threads like the Toyota Innova and Fortuner threads also appear at first glance to have become shorter.

Mikey, I checked our manual, they closest thing I saw to transmission oil is transaxle fluid. Is this the same? If so, it says to replace every 40,000km.

Thanks for the info, altec. I'll have my transaxle fluid changed when I hit 120,000 km, and I'll also ask the casa if that is the same as the transmission oil.

Hi Lensio. I take it you haven't installed the parking sensors you told us about earlier, as your rear bumper still looks intact... or did I just miss the sensors in the photo?

Also, is that a second set of fog lamps that you have on your front bumper overrider? Astig. Kung hindi lang ako nahihirapan mag-parallel park sa masikip na parking slots, gusto ko rin sana magpakabit ng bumper guard, tamang-tama yan sa mga makulit na tricycle dito sa amin

Lastly, I've never seen a Sedona with headlights that have the amber color at the bottom. Are they an extension of the signal lights? If so, do they also blink when you use your signal lights?

lensio, those are really great looking headlights. hindi rin ako partial dun sa chrome stuff, but hey, whatever turns you on. your sedona is a real head turner.

I'm a V6 owner. Bought it Sept 2005. I like the ride. Smooth. Tahimik ang makina. Comfortable captain's chairs. Good looking too. I got the m/t version. Downside, malakas sa gas. I can get only up to 6km/L mixed city/higway driving, light traffic. Minsan less pa. Then I had a problem with the engine. Napansin ko ang lakas umubos ng coolant. Dinala ko sa casa, kelangan daw palitan ng overhauling gaskets. So ibinaba ang makina. Parang overhaul na raw ang ginawa. Di pa rin nawala ang problema. Nag-demand ako na palitan ang makina. Pinalitan ang engine block and everything inside. Itinira ang cylinder head. Yun, mukhang naayos na. Nakakwentuhan ko yung isang mekaniko mukhang me mga v6 daw na me problemang ganun. Di lang daw ang unit ko ang me ganun na problema. Buti daw ako marunong tumingin. Kasi yung nakita daw nilang isa, paubos na ang coolant, di pa nagrereklamo. The good thing about this is Kia acknowledges this as a problem at di naman ako nahirapan nung humingi ako ng change of engine.

So far yun ang experience ko sa sedona v6. Cheers!

I refilled the brake fluid level to the max and so far so good, di na umiilaw at umiingay ang foot brake warning light. Never knew that you have to keep the brake fluid level to the max. I thought that only applies to the power steering fluid, that if it goes even near the half level, iingay na ang power steering pump.

Tomorrow, will try to send to those who gave me their yahoo address. Although I may have to send it in batches, di yata pwede one time ko ipadala ang 178MB. Or i zip ko? Anyone else wants me to email them the manual? Si ericmm previously said he wants pero di pa niya binigay ang email add niya.

i have also experienced the parking brake warning light coming onwhile driving. its a sign of the brake pads/brake system needs attention. you can temporarily remedy this by topping off your brake fluid, but i suggest you have your brakes checked.
