sa mga picanto owners na try nyo na po bang magpa engine wash? kc ung picanto ko 2,900 kilometers pa lang ntatakbo ko maalikabok na agad ung engine. Mag 1 year na nga pala sa akin ung picanto ko.

not yet..150Kms pa lang natakbo ko..pero if umabot ako ng ganyan..i would avoid engine wash..punas punas na lang..kahit sa lancer ko never ko pina engine wash. DIY lang palagi pag lilinisin ko makina.

Mabilis ding mag-collect ng alikabok yung Picanto ko. Everytime I take the car for the scheduled PMT, the dealer cleans the engine compartment by blowing away dirt using high pressure air. Malinis naman afterwards. Delikado yata yung engine wash. Mukhang minsan mo lang nagagamit yung Picanto mo, heheh.

I actually wanted to get Cobalt Blue (like yung Jazz blue) or yung Blue Diamond, pero ang dumating lang daw na colors ay silver and orange. So orange na lang. Pero pinakagusto ko talaga yung Samba Green. Grabe headturner talaga.

What's the difference in fuel consumption between the Picanto's manual and automatic models? Inputs would be appreciated, thanks!

woohoo! nakaka 700 kms na ako, lapit na sa 1st PMS...ano ba ang gagawin sa 1000 kms PMS? ano nga pala ang oil na gamit? ano pa mga gagawin or iaadjust?

to all picanto owner kailangan ba tlaga ang 1st 1000 kms PMS kc ung sa akin sbi ng ahente ko ibalik ko lang daw sa knila kpag naka 7,500 kms na ung kotse mag 1 year na picanto ko 3,700 kms pa lang ntaktakbo ko.

tnong ko din kung pwede ba iclaim ung warranty sa ibang dealer kc ung akin kailangan palitan ng bagong muffler pati ung console sa my ilalim ng radio gsto ko ipayos sa knila kc maingay sbi kc sa akin ng kia commonwealth kailangan palitan ng bagong muffler kc gumagaralgal ung sa my ilalim muffler daw un. Naiinip na kc ako kc mag 1 month na wala p din ung inorder na muffler. madami na din cla npalitan na muffler ng picanto parang my factory difect ung design.

Concern ko rin yan nung bago palang Picanto ko sabi ko sa dealer (Signet Mandaluyong) I want to have the oil changed after only 1000 km. They answered not necessary just come back after 5000km. So I followed their 5000 km PMT religiously. I also asked if I can bring my own oil lalo na yung synthetic oil. Sabi nila, sir baka maka-apekto sa warranty ninyo. Hindi na ako nag-insist. I think they use mineral oil. My car is now at 29300 km, 14 months old. So far no problem with engine or fuel consumption (14-17km/liter.) Air con is still excellent! Just replace the ACU air filter accordingly.

My only complaints about it have always been the hard to correct noise mainly the noise from the left hand side under the dashboard. Parang me loose part na pumipitik tuwing liliko ako on rough road. Ayaw ko namang pabuksan yung dashboard. Hayaan ko nalang, hehehe.

About the muffler replacement. Mine was replaced last August dahil nga dyan sa under-carriage muffler vibration noise when running on very low rpm. For a while nawala yung noise na yan. Pero bumalik din! During my 30,000 km PMT ipa-welding ko na kung ano man maluwag doon.

About the noise you heard under the radio compartment. Bro, paki feedback mo naman kung ano findings nila tungkol dyan. When my Picanto was still new, na-notice ko agad itong particular noise under the radio. It was a loose wiring harness of the radio, pumapalo sa dashboard. Harness, this is the plastic clips which are used to connect neatly one group of cables to another. What I did was to tie that harness to something under the dash with a plastic tie- yung type na merong ridges. I suspect baka ito din ang cause ng noise na sinasabi mo. Medyo mahirap itali with one hand (it's still under the dash and barely accessible) pero magagawa mo yan on your own.

CtrlAltDel thanks sa reply mo ung sa muffler ung sa loob ng muffler my problema kaya kailangang palitan ng bagong muffler un ay ung muffler sa gitna ng picanto ntatagalan na kc ako sa kia ang tagal ng parts di ko kc matiis ung tunog na yon sa muffler pati sa my ilalim ng radio. try ko tignan ung cnabi mo about dun sa my console sa ilalim ng radio ayoko din sana pabuksan baka kc magkaroon ng mark dahil sa pagtangal di pa nman maingat ung ibang gumagawa.

dun sa mga picanto owner na maingay din ung muffler na gumagaralgal iclaim nyo din sa casa na palitan kc di un normal sabi sa akin ng SA ko madami na sila pinalitan na muffler ng picanto.

Sa mga picanto owner saan kaya makakabili nung steel rim na my hubcup na ksama na original na kia ung size 14" stock mas gusto ko itsura nun e baka meron kayo binebenta na pinagpalitan nyo PM me nman o tnx

Hows the overall rating for the picanto? Im planning to get one since my wife is preggy and she will need a car for going to pampanga sa magalang Hospital. Is it ok for outside driving? I mean the NLEX with its 1.1 engine? Safe ba ito for her?

Ok na ok po ang picanto mabilis tumakbo at matipid pa sa gas sa safe na safe po sa highway ang picanto khit na mejo maliiit ang kotse. Ung picanto ko po pinapatakbo ko ng 140 kph sa SLEX wala kau maririnig na nahihirapan ung mkina. Kahit po ung body nya at that speed ay kpit na kpit sa daan hndi parang tatapon ung kotse.

Ang di ko nga lang po gsto sa picanto ay ung bouncy ride nya ramdam na ramdam mo kapag pangit ang kalye pero kapa aspalto na mkinis ok na ok msarap tumakbo at malakas pa ang aircon.
