Carlove, I went to KIA's showroom na last Saturday. I am impressed with what the agent shown me. Kaya lang when I checked the Picanto model, di ako na-impress. Parang matatakot ako everytime na gamitin ko yung kotse. Kahit gaano ka kainggat sa pag drive kung tarantado yung babangga sayo sa likod, siguradong patay yung pasahero ko sa likod. Atsaka I checked the materials, especially the back part, sobrang tinipid. Parang hard cardboard lang yung material na ginamit para sa lalagyanan ng things sa likod. Well, tolerable pa yung materials kung sa dating price nya, pero sa 395k siguro hindi na. And also, I asked the agent na I'll get the unit in CASH pero mas priority daw nila yung kukuha ng Financing. So sabi nila baka July pa daw ako makakuha kung Cash purchase ang gagawin ko.
So I plan na baka kumuha nalang ako ng Vios or City... or better yet, baka kumuha nalang ako ng 2nd hand car na maliit ang makina. Important kasi sakin is maliit makina para di magastos sa gas.

Pero ang worse na experience ko dyan sa Agents ng KIA or should I say Manager ba?.. M not so sure eh... eh yung Manager yata or agent ng KIA Boni sa SIGNET.. biruin mong binebentahan ako ng 2nd hand na Kia Picanto, and nung compute ko eh mas mahal pa or the same ng presyo ng brand new. AND also, ayaw nya bayaran ng Cash, gusto nya na mag down ako ng 20% then financing for 3 to 4 years.,. sabi ko.. e pano kung may pambayad naman ako ng Cash... sabi nya is ayaw nya.. bad trip diba?

This will show that the listed prices of Kia are very deceiving. Yung 395K, pagbilang mo 500K na pala ang nabayaran mo based on present value price dahil sa financing charges. So ibablackmail ka to get financing and tell you that July mo pa makukuha ang saskyan pag cash. Pero take note, pagdating ng July tatawagin ka nandiyan na raw ang sasakyan. 445K na raw ang cash price. Kala mo makakalusot ka.

I hope makita ng tao ang vicious cycle ng scheme na to. Wala ka talagang panalo.Ang humahawak yata ng Columbia Motors mga Pulitiko. Ang galing nilang paikutin ang publiko.

Carlove: Mukha ngang ganun ang mangyayari. Malamang pagdating ng July hindi na 395k yung gusto kong kotse.. nasa 400+ na yun. And do they think na may bibili pa ng kotse nilang more than 400k? Mas pipiliin nalang din siguro bumili ng iba ng nasa 500k na kotse in lieu of getting that car. Sabi nga rin sakin nung agent, madami na daw nag back out na client nila kasi walang stock and tumaas ang presyo.

ILuvDetailing: Yes ayaw nila ng bank ang magfi-finance. Sabi ko nga eh, kasi may kilala ako sa bank at sila magpapa-finance sakin. Para na rin daw binili yung kotse as Cash kung finance thru other banks. So di pa rin daw priority yun. PERO kung mag deal sila ng bank and ibibigay pa rin nilang rate eh yung rate ng KIA na 31% in 3 years... papayag sila dun. Kasi dun daw tutubo ang Columbia eh.

By the way, baka 2nd hand car nalang ang bilhin ko. Question lang... what do they mean if they say FLD? Fully loaded? like anong merong features yun.. and balak ko nalang kasi kumuha ng Honda pero maliit ang makina... meron ba ang Honda na previuos models.. na nasa 1.1-1.3 lang ang makina? Di kasi ako marunong sa kotse eh.. Thanks..

Oo nga. ok pa ba yung car ngayon. Sabi kasi sakin sa Kia Manila sa July pa daw dadating yung mga units nila

Wala ho ba sa mga picanto owners can spare time and give some of their thoughts about the car. Can't decide whether to wait for the arrival of picanto o kunin ko na yung getz.

I have some concerns kasi about Getz. First, its already in the international market for 2.5 years. I fear that it may go on a facelift or worse a redesign! Second, its a bit heavier than the picanto and so I fear that the 1.1 engine may not be enough. Although there's a 1.3l available problem is I can't afford it. My wifey kasi just gave me a limit!

Choosing a Kia is similar to pouring steaming water over your head. Mapapaso ka talaga. You not only risk buying a lemon, you also risk doing business with its unscrupulous distributor Columbia Motors. Please read previous thread to know more about their dirty tactics.

If you encounter a problem with Kia, your on your own. Don't expect a heartless uncaring company like Columbia Motors to even cry for you. I was one of their victims and I can never forgive them. I will debate with anyone who would say otherwise.

Sa mga nagtanong kung kamusta na ang picanto isa lang ang masasabi ko sa ngyn talagang ayos na ayos at sulit na sulit ang pagkakabili ng picanto. Sa kain sa gas matipid tlaga sa akin 13km/l ang kain wid traffic. Ginamit ko cya punta sa tagaytay nung mahal na araw ang lakas ng makina parang 16 valve kung humataw sa SLEX wid passenger of 4 person.
